A common trope present in those fluffy, romance mangas, anime, novels, and fanfiction -- that yours truly here loves to succumb herself into due to the dismal fact of not having a decent lovelife -- is the infamous rainy season scene.

Oh, there is just something about the incessant pouring of the drops of rain that makes hearts do somersaults as a pair of teenagers shared an umbrella with their arms brushing together the slightest from the tight space.

With the scent of the cool autumn shower blanketing the air, the close proximity of two hearts matching the rhythm of the pitter-patting rain sends warmth growing from within the young soon-to-be couple. Instead of the usual taps of the soles of their shoes, a wet splash occurs with each step they take.

And, the moment the girl peeks over her partner's shoulders, she would notice a patch of cloth sticking to her male companion's skin due to getting soaked by the dripping clear beads of liquid -- an after-effect of the gentlemanly action of the boy to prevent having the young lady soaked. In consideration, she then inches closer towards the boy as blush forms on their features -- their steps coming into a halt as they began admiring the details of their faces that they had never seen up close until today.

Then, they kiss and fall in love, and have ten children after a timeskip. And, they all lived happily ever after.

And, since this mediocre story is no better, let us also start our own rainy season chapter. It's not like this story isn't cliché enough to begin with.

With her forehead that harbors the now barely discreetable fading mark of the student council logo, a certain (h/c) haired female lets her top skull rest on the cold casing of the clear glass window pain of the office window. Her warm breath leaves a misty fog on the moist surface, her (e/c) tones travelling down to the students marching their way towards the school gates to finally exit the campus and relax with a warm cup of coffee amid the rainy day -- you know, like how most poets like it.

A sigh escaped (Y/N)'s lips, her fingers drawing a small heart on the fogged up part of the window as she spots a particular pair of students sharing an umbrella -- acting all lovey-dovey with that shoujou manga appeal within them.

Oh, how, she wished to be in a similar situation with a particular person in mind. It was such a shame that Endorsi was absent for a photoshoot; she may be living in her little fantasy as they shared an umbrella on their way to the dorms after student council duties.
