Chapter 8- Reunited

Third Person POV

When Valentina looses consciousness Logan is right there to catch her

"What the hell did you do that for!?" He yells not liking his soulmate hurt

"She's an enemy, I'm gonna treat her like one" he says walking away toward the building

Loki goes over and breaks the cuffs so they could carry her easier

When he takes them off he sees cuts and angry red rashes around her right wrist

He's looks up and sees Thor, Stephen, and Logan looking at it as well

Logan carries her through the building and into the large conference room she was to meet Fury in

He walks in with her in his arms and see that Fury, Coulson and the rest of their soulmates were there

"What happened to her!?" Natasha asks concerned

"Steve over there punched her, twice, but not before tasing her" Loki said disappointed

"She's an enemy, she'll be treated like one" Steve said again stiffly

"I don't know where you got that idea from but she isn't an enemy, she has helped us and none of you who were on the plane are dead. So safe to say she's not here to hurt anyone" Fury says angrily

Steve takes Valentina out of Logan's arms and puts her on one of the chairs cuffing her hands behind her back

Everyone is upset that he's treating their soulmate this way

45 minutes later Valentina groans lightly she moves her head to the side and blinks adjusting to the light

She looks down to see her hands cuffed behind the chair

She rolls her eyes and looks up to see both Fury and Coulson and all of her soulmates

Valentina's POV

"Hello Director" I say

"Hello to you too Valentina, I'm sorry about your current position" he says glaring at Steve

"Not a problem" I say pushing my hands out till I hear a click

The cuffs snaps in two and I bring my hands forward taking them off my hands and dropping them at the feet of Steve who was standing besides the chair I'm sitting on

"I assume your here for something important, or you wouldn't be here" he says

"Yes, well I'm finally getting away form Hydra and I can't do that without doing this one thing. I'm hoping you might be able to assist me with this thing" I say

"Mind being a bit specific" Clint asks calmly

"That's would help now wouldn't it. Well after Natalia was able to escape, they didn't want that happening again. So they created... a fail safe you could call it. It is a small Hydra pin that is implanted under the skin, when out of the body it proves that a hydra agent is dead" I start

"That's the thing you took out of that guys arm at that gala?" Peter asks

"Yes, but besides that it's also a tracking device" I say

"I told you she was an enemy. Hydra's probably tracking her back here to headquarters!" Steve says angrily

"If you would just be quiet for one moment I could explain myself. It doesn't start tracking until 24 ours after the timeframe of the mission. My mission started at 10 o'clock this morning, so by 1 am I will be past my timeframe, from there I will have 24 hours before the tracker is activated"  I finish

"Ok so how do we get the tracker out?" Bruce asks

"Well that's the part I need assistance with. You see these pins attach to arteries in the area and are almost impossible to remove on a live person. I've done it a couple of times but that's not enough. I would take it out myself but I don't think that's possible" I say

"Why not" Tony asks legitimately confused

"Unfortunately mine is in quite a delicate area" I say hesitantly

I unzip a bit of my catsuit so they can see my neck

"If you can see that small mark, mine lies right on my Carotid artery. Even a quarter of a millimeter off and I bleed out and die instantly" I say sighing

"Great so your giving us mission impossible" Tony says sarcastically

"I'm not giving you anything, I'm simply asking for help, and if you can't or won't then fine, I leave just like that, no hesitation" I say truthfully

"Well then thank you for visiting but we can't help you, someone will escort you out" Steve says smiling

"Hey Punk what's your problem!? She's our soulmate and you just wanna toss her back to the worst people we've ever encountered!" Bucky say agitated

"Incase you haven't noticed she is one of them, she is Hydra and there's no knowing what she'll do!" Steve yells angrily

I knew this was a bad idea, should've just gone through the backup plan

"Well this had been fun but I think this is my cue, I will be leaving now" I say standing up and going over to where my weapons are

"You are not going anywhere Lady Valentina, we are going to figure this out" Thor says

"I think I have an idea" Bruce tells us

"Shuri can probably figure out a way to get it out without killing you. I'm certain T'Challa wouldn't mind helping us" he says again

"So your willing to take her all the way to Wakanda?" Steve scoffs

"If that means she doesn't die, or get taken back to Hydra then yes" Bruce says defensively

"We should get going immediately then, since we don't know how long Shuri will need" Coulson says

They all nod and get ready

I stand up and grab onto the table feeling dizzy

Natalia comes over to me but Steve stops her by grabbing her arm

She snatched away from his hold and comes over to me as I let go of the table and stumble taking my first step

Natalia grabs onto me and puts a hand on my face and one on my hip

I blink a couple times to clear my vision

"Hey are you ok?" Natalia asks me concerned

I just nod slightly before getting out of her hold and walking behind Coulson and Fury
