It was a busy Saturday at the airport. The building was packed with people, Dream and Sapnap among them.

Sapnap was wearing an obnoxious hawaiian shirt and holding a map in his hand, occassionally bumping into people passing by.

Dream was looking around nervously, his eyes a dark shade of purple. He wore his sunglasses, but he still felt extremely nervous.

A claustrophobic atmosphere was raining down on Dream, he felt his heart race and face heat up-

"George!" Sapnap shouted, waving aggressively. A brunette boy with a blue sweater and luggage in hand screamed in response, running towards the two.

He flung his hands around both of their necks, pulling them down and hugging them tight. Dream's face burned.

"I can't believe this is actually happening! I can't believe I finally met you two! (the uk vlog doesn't exist in this story,,, just like in real life 💔)" George cried out, fervently fanning himself with his hands.

Sapnap beamed at him. Dream felt like he was going to implode.

"We should get going, then we can get some lunch," Sapnap suggested and the two other boys nodded. As they walked towards Dream's car, Dream couldn't help but notice the brunette staring at him in awe. His eyes flickered a soft pink colour.

"I- I'm sorry if I'm staring too much, it's just," George blurted out, his eyes averting, "you look.. so different from what I thought you would."

Dream huffed, earning a chuckle from Sapnap, who opened the trunk of the car and hauled George's luggage into the back.

"What did you expect me to look like?" Dream asked quietly, glancing at him. George smiled sheepishly, shrugging.

"It's a good different, I suppose," George added quickly, suppressing a giggle but failing miserably. "May I?"

He pointed to Dream's sunglasses. The blonde's breath hitched but nodded slowly, his pink eyes meeting George's brown ones. Sapnap watched them in silence, making occassional grimaces.

"You have pretty eyes," said George simply. Sapnap breathed out in relief and got into the frontseat of the car, waiting patiently. Dream felt his ears turn a slight shade of pink, "I thought they were going to be a bit darker but they're still pretty."

Dream smiled and lingered in place, before getting into the driver's seat and starting the car. George went into the back, looking at his phone with interest.

"That was close," said Sapnap in an undertone, so that only Dream could hear. The blonde nodded softly as he backed out of the parking lot and started driving home. Sapnap looked at George through the mirror and exhaled slowly, "You know, as long as you don't change emotions around him, I think you should be fine."

"Yeah, I reckon. He is pretty dense," Dream whispered and Sapnap laughed harshly, making George look up curiously. Sapnap shrugged at him and turned back to Dream. "But that's what makes me like him more."

Sapnap pretended to gag, causing Dream to frown and roll his eyes, which had sparked up with a soft orange. They travelled in silence, with occassional small talk. When they finally reached Dream's house, the atmosphere was much more relaxed. Dream felt himself turn a light shade of pink whenever George looked at him. Sapnap grinned over his shoulder when unlocking the door.

"You really like him, don't you?" Sapnap asked him quietly, his brown eyes locking onto the brunette. Dream smiled weakly, his eyes not meeting Sapnap's. The younger boy chuckled. "This is adorable. It's not every day you're this flustered."

"Oh shut up," Dream remarked dangerously. Sapnap looked at him and was met with sparkly green eyes. He smirked.

"Right, I suggest you spend some time with lover boy, there. I promised to film a video with Bad and then we can go get lunch," Sapnap teased, making sure to put special emphasis on the words 'spend some time' and 'lover boy'. Dream groaned, "Have fun, Romeo."

Sapnap walked down the hallway and gave him a thumbs up before disappearing into a room. Dream cursed under his breath and turned to go find George, who had disappeared somewhere. He looked in the living room, checked the kitchen and then realised that he probably went into the guest's bedroom.

He knocked softly before opening the door. Dream peered into the room and felt an involuntary smile grow on his face. George was laying on the bed, sleeping lightly. Of course - the poor boy must have been exhausted and extremely jet lagged. Dream was about to leave but he saw George turn and smile at him sleepily.

"Hey," George stirred, attempting to perch himself using his elbows. Dream exhaled softly and closed the door, walking over to his bed and sitting down, "Sorry for dozing off, I'm just so ti-tired."

George managed to mutter out the sentence but was interrupted by a yawn. Dream chuckled quietly, making George frown. "What?" he asked warily, massaging his face in attempts to wake up. Dream just smiled bashfully, rubbing the back of his neck.

The blonde reached out and pressed his hand onto George's cheek, stroking it affectionately. George was too tired to notice. "Go to sleep, George. You'll feel better and we have time, Sapnap is going to record," said Dream timidly, pushing the brunette onto the bed and tucking him. George gave him one last smile before closing his eyes and falling asleep. He brushed his brown hair out of his face.

"You're so cute but such an idiot sometimes," Dream muttered fondly, a tiny smile forming on his face. He looked down at the sleeping boy and his smile twitched slightly. He didn't notice his eyes turned a dull blue colour, "It's not your fault."

Dream left the room feeling very confused. Was what he did wrong? What if he was uncomfortable with it? He left the house to take a breath of fresh air, feeling very bewildered and sad for no reason at all.
