The Other Widow -Avenger's Soulmate Story

Chapter 9- Wakanda

When we get onto the air craft I take a seat towards the back and rest my head against one of the widows with my eyes closed again with one hand cuffed to the seat

I feel a presence and open my eyes to see Wanda, Pietro, Bucky, and Tony

"Hi?" I ask confused as to why they're sitting in front of me

"Hello beautiful" Tony says smirking

I try my best not to glare but I'm not sure how well it works

"Stop that Tony, hello I'm Wanda, is there anything you need or want that we can help you with?" She asks me politely

"Oh no you have all been more then generous, thank you" I say trying not to move my hand in the cuff

Three of them walk away but Bucky stays behind and stays seated

As he's about to talk when Natalia and Clint come over and take a seat

Natalia kneels in front of me and un cuffs my hand looking at my wrist

"How long?" she asks me sadly

"I never stoped" I say

She sits back down in front of me between Bucky and Clint

"Valentina, I was with Hydra for a very long time, I know what it's like. I gave in but when I found Steve and Natasha I knew that I couldn't take it anymore. I had to be free so I could be with them. You already met us all years ago, so what happened now which made you want to leave" he asks curiously

I am a brick wall but in this moment I find myself slipping

"My graduation ceremony, it was a little different from everyone else's. I didn't get sterilized, it was much worse" I say

"Wait you didn't get sterilized, what can be worse then that" Natalia asks me defensively

I shake my head and keep talking

"How does that have anything to do with why your here?" Steve voice asks from behind me

I turn to see that all my soulmates plus Coulson and Fury were there now

"I thought they didn't sterilize me because they were going to let me go, I was naive for thinking that. I found out a couple days ago the true reason, they want me to have a child" I say trying not to show emotion

"They thought that me being a Widow's daughter was the reason for my success. And they believed that if I was to fall pregnant with a strong Hydra operative, I would produce, well another me, a better, more stronger version" I finish

I look at my soulmates and they all have different emotions

Some have sadness while others have anger and confusion

"So what does it mater to you, aren't you loyal to Hydra, wouldn't you do anything for them? Why would it matter to a heartless person about what happens to a child?" Steve says scoffing

I can not believe my ears

Does he think I'm that bad of a person

He's been saying rude things all day but this was too much

"I don't know who the hell you think you are but don't you dare talk to me that way. I get it, you don't like me, fine I'm not asking you to, but how dare you insinuate that I wouldn't care for the well being of my own child. I don't need to you like me, and if you really don't want me here say the word and I leave. I'll leave you and the rest of my soulmates in peace to live out the rest of your happy little lives" I say angrily

"I don't care what you think Captain Rogers, but I am much more than you give me credit for. The only reason I'm here interfering with your life is because I'm not willing to die, not when I have a chance to live" I spit out at him

I closed my eyes and ignore everyone after that too irritated and tired to care

A few hours later I feel a tap on my shoulder

I look up to see Natalia standing with her arm out to me

I take her hand to stand up

She puts her hand on my lower back and guides me off the Jet with the rest of our soulmates and towards the steps of the palace

"Welcome to Wakanda, I'm T'Challa" the man who greeted us said

"This is Shuri, my younger sister" T'Challa says

"Nice to meet you Valentina. I'm glad Bruce and Tony have finally realized that I'm much more intelligent then them" She says

"Very nice to meet you as well Shuri" I say laughing a little at her attitude

"Come with me to my lab and we can try to figure this out" she says taking me to her lab

When we step into the lab I see advanced tech that I can't even believe exists

"Take a seat" she says pointing to the table

I get on top and move my head so my neck is visible

She takes a picture on an iPad then projects an x-ray version on the large screen

"Wow, there is no way you could get that out by yourself" she says with wide eyes

"Well I knew that, but can you, take it out that is, or find away to destroy it" I ask trying not to sound too desperate

"How much longer do you have, until it activates?"Shuri asks me

"Well it's midnight right now so about 25 more hours. But if this isn't possible then I'm going to need at least 1 hour for plan B" I say hoping it doesn't come to that

"Ok, give me 5 hours ad I'll see what I can do" she says

We leave Shuri in the lab and the rest of us go to a living room area

I sit down on the edge of one of the sofas and just close my eyes

I open them and touch my neck subconsciously feeling the small bump of the pin

"Vallen" I hear Natalia say and I get knocked out of my daze

"Hmm, sorry what did you say" I ask her moving my hand down to my lap

"I asked what your plan B was" she asks

"You don't need to worry about that" I say smiling

I knew if she knew what plan B was she would stop me and tell me not to

And if it comes to plan B, I don't want to leave this world hurting the only person I've ever loved

I look away from her and and find Loki starting at me intensely

I then hear Wanda gasp and put her hand over her mouth

I look at her and she has tears in her eyes

"So that's your plan B?!" Loki says angrily
