Chapter 14| First Day

Next morning, Ahana woke up early to see Neil still asleep. She gets up and goes to freshen up. After that she headed out to start her first day as Mrs. Neil Malhotra.

While here Neil wakes up shortly after Ahana leaves and goes to freshen. Ahana heads to the hall to see Angali and Shruti also present there.

Ahana:"Good morning maa.. Good morning Bhabhi"

Angali:"Good morning beta."(Just then preeti also came down and smiled at Ahana )"Ahana beta I am sure you know this but I'll say it again just in case. There are few rituals still left. First of all you have to cook something sweet today in the kitchen. Afterward Sanjeev ji should be here to pick you up"

Ahana:"Ji maa"

Ahana first went and prayed to god in the house temple before heading to the kitchen and preparing halwa, An Indian sweet dish. Afterwards Shruti and Preeti with the help of servants started to prepare breakfast and lunch while Ahana went to the kids room to get them up.

Ahana enters the kids room to see 2 beds on each corner of the room. The room looked like it was divided in half. The left half was all boys stuff while the right half of girly. Ahana smiles as she heads towards Naira's bed and wakes her up.

Ahana:(Picking Naira up)"Good morning "

Naira:(Snuggling into her warmth )"Good morning mumma.."

Ahana Smiles and heads over to the boys bed. She slowly puts Naira on the bed ,who was now fully wake,signals  her to be quiet with a mischievous smile . Naira giggles seeing Ahana about to tickle Aryan and Ansh. She to joins in as they both tickle the boys to wake them up.

Aryan:(Laughing)"Stop stop..."

Ansh:(Laughing)"Mumma stop no.."

Ahana:(Stopping as she saw them awake )"Great. Now common get up all of you we have to get ready. And we will start by brushing first okay"(She said as she takes the 3 to the bathroom)

Meanwhile here Neil got freshened up and was busy on a call from office. He finally finished the call and looked at the time in horror. He was the one who wakes up the kids every morning and gets them ready but today due to office call he got late. Signings he heads to the kids room to find it empty. Just them he hears some giggling in the bathroom. He heads to the bathroom to be adorable sight.

He sees Ahana instructing the kids on how to brush while Ansh was giggling when he saw Aryan  gargle.

Ahana:"Ansh stop laughing and wash you mouth. Fast"

Naira:(Sees Neil standing at the door through the bathroom mirror )"Papa..."

Ahana looks up and sees Neil too. He comes in and kisses on Naira's cheek before ruffling Ansh's head. The kids by now had finished brushing and it was time for getting ready.

Ahana:"Okay who wants to take a bath first"

Naira:"Me.."

Ahana:"Alright everyone out "(The boys went out while Ahana gave a bath to Naira and dresses her up. She did the same with Ansh and Aryan one by one.)

an hour of  gone by in getting the kids ready. Though Neil had helped a little in getting the kids dressed while Ahana bathed them. After everyone was ready they all headed to the dinning room to see everyone present. The kids went and hugged their grandparents while everyone smiled. They all settled down for breakfast when Neil asked Ansh a question "

Neil:"Ansh..Do you like ur school "

Ansh:"Yes papa"(Ahana knew where this was going so she sat quietly looking at Ansh)
