Abel

I watched her as she ran out, she looked like she just got her heart broke.

All her family members either shift to get up or are already standing up.

They're all so loyal and caring towards her.

"Please everyone, I'll go."

I say walking towards the front door.

"STAY AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!"

"I need you to listen to this Mr. García."

"I love your daughter and I'm gonna go comfort her!"

I say and walk out, I straight away spot Chiquita, she's sitting on the sidewalk crying her eyes out, I can hear it.

I take a seat beside her and wrap my arms around her the best that I can.

"I told you I'd stay by your side baby."

"A-A-Abe-Abel."

"You wanna talk about it?"

"May-may-be i-i-in a lit-lit-tle, can-can y-ou just ho-hol-ld me?

"Anything that pleases the queen."

I shut it and just hold her close.

I let her cry onto my shoulder, I don't give a fuck how soaked my shirt gets from her tears, I only care about her.

I kiss her hair.

"I love you babygirl, I'm sorry your dad was mean to you."

"I-I-I-"

"You don't need to answer, just listen."

"I hate seeing you cry beautiful, it hurts."

"I-I-I-I love you, Abe-Abel."

"No you don't baby, your just emotional right now, tell me when you mean it."

"B-but-"

"Hey, since your talking why don't you tell me what's up?"

"I-I-"

Her voice cracks as she stutters and I instantly regret asking.

"I'm so sorry, forget it baby."

I caress her hair and go back to kissing it.

We just stay like that for five whole minutes.

Her crying hasn't stopped, she's seriously crying her eyes out.

I can't stand it, I can't stand seeing the woman I love cry like this.

"Let me take you home with me."

I whisper into her hair.

"O-o-okay."

I stand up and as soon as she starts getting up.

I scoop her up in my arms.

"Ah-Abel!"

I wipe numerous tears off her check.

"Shh, I'm here."

I struggle to get my key out of my pocket, but eventually I do and unlock the car doors.

I somehow get the door open with Chiquita in my arms.

I set her down in her seat and close her door.

I get in my seat and immediately start my car and drive away.

Chiquita continues crying.

Damn his words must've really hurt her.
