Akaashi was picking up your groceries.
Konoha and Komi had taken their leave earlier, once they had finished filming the TikTok.
"Ehh? Akaashi! You don't have to do that-" You frantically waved your arms around.
"They weigh nearly nothing. It's fine."
No Akaashi, it isn't about how much they weigh. It's about how pretty you look while doing that, and about you touching my stuff. I don't mind, of course, but my six months aren't over and I'm too young to die-
I swear, Akaashi, you're going to give me some kind of simping seizure.
Whoever your parents are, I thank their genes, and the way they brought you up.
"Are you okay?" he asked. "You look like you saw a supermodel who just offered to help you."
Accurate. Also, how the hell does he know what that looks like?
"Anyway, L/n-san, I realised we never finished our tutoring session." Akaashi led you across a road. "Want to come over for a bit?"
Huh? What? Akaashi. Are you thinking straight? What? Why? I'm not complaining, but-
"I'm worried now. Are you insane?" You mimicked him from when you asked him to teach you math.
He smiled. "So what if I am?"
You took a deep breath and tried to hide your embarrassment from him.
Akaashi! What the heck?
"Do you want to, or not?" Akaashi took a turn into a street.
"I guess?" You scrambled toward him as he walked faster.
"Good. My parents and siblings are both out. We have the house to ourselves. I'll cook for you. What do you want?"
You told him your favourite food and he nodded, taking in the information.
"I think we have the ingredients for that at home. Come along." Akaashi brought you to a Japanese manor home.
Akaashi. What the hell?

So Akaashi was rich.
Holy shit. Just holy shit.
You took in the giant space, the varnished wooden furniture and floor, the flowers in the courtyard-
He has a courtyard.
"Remove your shoes." He pointed to a shoe rack and then to a pair of slippers. "Put these on instead."
So you did. Somehow, Akaashi had already done it, apparently just without you seeing.
That is the embodiment of real speed.
"We try to follow Japanese tradition here because my parents are old-fashioned that way," he explained, taking you to a door. "We do have some housekeepers but they're out at the moment."
Some housekeepers? Some?
He opened it to reveal a kitchen. It was pretty big, and it had the same varnished wood-bamboo gig going on.
Akaashi walked in and dropped off the groceries on the counter before beginning to tuck them into the fridge.
"Akaashi, that's my stuff too." You reminded him.
"Sorry. Forgot. I'll take them out when you need to go home." Akaashi took out some vegetables and other ingredients from the bags and fridge.
"I made rice this morning, by the way." He had noticed your surprised look.
No Akaashi. I wasn't thinking of that. I was thinking about you in general. Haruichi Furudate never dropped hints about you being rich. Yet here we are.
He sighed.
"What is it, Akaashi?" you asked him.
"I just feel kind of tired at the moment. I want to go take a break before I start cooking." He checked his phone, which he pulled out of his school blazer. "Tomorrow's a Saturday, so no school anyway. It's fine if I fall asleep. Oh, wait. Sorry, L/n-san. If I do fall asleep, you can sleep beside me. Or just wake me up." He yawned and walked out of the kitchen.
"Akaashi? Where are you going?" You ran after him.
"To my room."
You were honestly quite tired too. Helping Konoha and Komi took so long. Though fun, it was tiring.
You followed him up the stairs. He took a left turn to the end of the corridor and went into the room.
As you entered the room, you realised it was kind of childlike. Kinda weird for Akaashi.
Plane and boat models.
He climbed atop the bed and snored softly.
You honestly didn't care about looking around at the rest of the room. You were too tired and your anime husband had given you permission to sleep beside him.
So you lay beside him, loosely throwing your arms around his chest and immediately fell asleep.
