Consuming most of their dinner Cyrus found Maylin to be chatty though easy to get used to, since she knew when to slow down every now and then. She also respected and understands his choice to remain quiet which is a bonus to her suggestion of him 'pen tapping'

He had finished eating his last broccoli when Cyrus had caught again the eyes of other students that tried to look somewhere else, they weren't exactly fast enough in doing it to go unnoticed.

While more brave ones stared at their table. Cyrus thought of sticking their eyeballs in with his fork, what was their problem anyway? Well, Cyrus had his guess, because he counted the patterns of the students pupils kept going to his tattooed neck. How typical of people.

Judging him off the bat.

They're probably busy spreading their suspicions on him as they glanced his way, no high school student should even be allowed having a tattoo. But in Cyrus defense, he's had the markings for as long as he could remember it.

Northwood's head principal knew it too, from seeing his file and him not wearing his scarf anymore. During the drive here, Amy even tried prying the answers but left the topic alone as Cyrus didn't answer her questions.

He just wasn't okay with sharing the story Cyrus thinks why he has them with anyone, nobody will believe it. Maybe those curious eyes wished to solve the mystery of the burned scars that came underneath the silver tattoo.

Maylin followed his gaze and sighed seeing the other students peering at their table. "Let them look, that's all they can actually do really." Cyrus then glanced at Maylin tilting his head and his eyebrow claimed, she shrugged.

"You're new meat here." Maylin said casually, while leaning in closer to him but still minding Cyrus's space. "Listen, the social scene here can get...chaotic."

"And since you're new. I should give you heads up, and because you don't seem to be the fellow who first asks around, so here goes." Maylin puts up her fingers in front of him narrating.

"We have seven sectors in this school. First of all, you've got them Omega sector ranks. They're the pretty ones, you'd know because whether female or male they're the smaller ones who tend to get left behind during a marathon."

"They have White dog tags, If you plan to date one of them; good luck buddy. There's only few to choose from and you'd hit the jackpot if they aren't taken already." She whispers. "There, at three o'clock." Cyrus then turns to a table with about ten people who were smaller in size and looked like living dolls. Including the guys themselves.

"Miss prissy ponytail Jessie over there is the spoilt princess officer sector rank." Cyrus thought that girl did appear lady like and royalty being very feminine.

They're short and adorable. He notes.

"Pst-hey, don't look too long. Jealous partners is something you don't want to bring into your plate here." Maylin cautiously scolds. "They may appear harmless and cute now but they have their feisty days." Cyrus taps twice in understanding what having bad days feels like, though he'd wouldn't say it.

His own episodes were...vicious.

"Next are the Silver sector ranks, I'm really friendly with the officer there." Maylin waved at the table behind him and Cyrus slightly glanced over his shoulder to see this short smiley boy, adjusting his thick glasses and return the greeting before going back to eat.

Everyone at his table had Silver tags.
"Emmett's sector is kinda similar to the Omega ranks, yet his group is only stronger by just little to them. Don't let his innocent baby face trick you Cyrus, Emmett can switch personas in a snap."
