"Ma! Ma! " screamed Laksh entering
Sumitra's chamber.

Sumitra and Kaushalya who were chattering tured towards Laksh.

"What happened Laksh? Why are you screaming? " asked Sumitra

"Mata do you know where is Ram Bhaiya? I haven't seen him since morning. "
"Laksh you are such an oblivious." remarked Kaushalya

"Me? Why? What did i do? "

"Today is Raksha Bandhan Laksh. "
Said both his mothers

"So how does it answer my question about Ram Bhaiya? "

"So you want Ram to spend his Rakhi with you? Are you his Sister " giggled Laksh

"Shanta didi isn't here. So what does Ram Bhaiya has to do with Raksha Bandhan.  Also i am his everything be it be brother, sister, best friend, etc etc" said laksh narrowing his eyes

"Sumitra go bring a skirt. Let me dress my princess Lakshman" said Kaushalya and both of them started giggling.

"Mataaa! I am going" said an abashed Laksh.

"Laksh!! Okay okay fine. We won't laugh come back." said Kaushalya

Lakshman came back with a scowled face.

"Your Ram Bhaiya is with his sister Urmila. She will tie him Rakhi today. "

Lakshman's face showed a dreadful expression.

"First she is after my life,  then impresses my family now she is Ram Bhaiya's sister how great" Laksh said in a barely audible tone.

"you said something?" questioned Sumitra.

"No. Not at all"

"Lakshman i would suggest you should also get a Rakhi tied by Urmila. Now that Urmila is Ram's sister you two should resolve your differences"
Said the innocent Kaushalya while Sumitra giggled under her breath noticing Laksh's expression. His face turned pale listening to this

"Huh!! Solve issues with her never"
And with this he ran out of the chamber.

COMMON ROOM

The sound of giggles filled the entire room and the corridor outside.

Urmila and Ram were having sibbling time together. It was rakhi after all.

"Ram Bhaiya. See i brought this Rakhi for you specifically. Sita didi helped me in choosing this. Do you like it? "
and Urmila took out a light and dark green designer floral Kundan Rakhi bejewelled with pearls and stones. The dial of the rakhi features a lotus made of kundan with a fine detailing
