So here is a oneshot for Faramir! There are mentions of cheating and manipulative partners and heartbreak, so if you just don't feel comfortable reading about those, then this might not be the chapter for you (I don't go into detail, and there's no mention of abuse that I'm aware of).

You sat outside of a building in Minas Tirith. Your heart felt shattered and empty. This man took advantage of you and took your heart and tore it into shred. You were weak, and you needed to get yourself up.

But it was so hard to get back up. He had destroyed you after years of building you up. That was so sickening and hurtful... and nobody knew what you were going through.

Everyone got along with him. He was charming yet manipulative, which would probably make everyone side with him. Why did everything feel so frustrating to you?

Soon, Faramir, who was your dearest friend, walked out and had a concerned look on his face. He noticed the tears falling down your face and felt awful. He then sat next to you and put an arm around your shoulders. You looked up at him and wiped tears with your sleeve.

"What happened to you? Why are you crying?" Faramir asked, while trying to comfort you. "Unless you do not wish to tell me. Then I will just cheer you up somehow."

"It's okay." you sighed. "I need to vent." Faramir nodded, prepared for what you were going to tell him. And you held quite a bit inside. "Well, you know that man I have been with for so long? The one who I told you that I trusted with my life? He just betrayed my trust by loving some woman while saying that he was in love with me. Please don't hate me for being against him..."

Faramir gasped and hugged you. "Why would I hate you for being betrayed? And I know that this is possibly won't make you feel better, but I believe that a slob like him does not deserve the kindest, loveliest, and most well-mannered person that you are."

He was so kind to you. Your appreciation for him grew, and that appreciation slowly grew into something much larger and deeper.

Months later, many of your friends were poisoned by the toxic words of your former lover. They had thrown harsh insults at you, such as "traitor" and "filthy". There were several friends who never believed the lies. One of them being Faramir, who you have started to develop warm and strong feelings for.

The feelings for him only grew stronger, and you felt that you needed to confess. But you had no idea how to do it. Faramir might reject you, and it just won't hit you right. And you didn't want to be hurt any longer.

Honestly, the insults had died down after months, but every now and then you would hear a former friend say something awfully harsh (though the harshness of the insults stopped hurting you recently).

Whenever Faramir was walking down the street with you and somebody insulted you, he would come to your defense. You usually defended yourself just fine, but Faramir made you feel glad that there were some friends that cared about you.

Today, Faramir, who was the youngest son of the steward of Gondor, was walking you somewhere, as he had to tell you something. As you walked, there was a person that used to be your friend giving you a menacing scowl.

"And to think I knew a fine person, but you ended up being a-" the former friend began, and you cut them off before the sentence could be finished. You were so sick of these people. The insults stopped hurting, and they were just annoying. Not a single person could make up a creative insult.

Like, if someone had to give you an insult, they should be creative. Everyone always said the same three things.

"Oh, shut up." you argued. "I already know what you're going to say. Come up with better insults, numbskull. Also, that snake was the one I thought I knew. Maybe you should look into out story more. Find out the truth. But for now, sod off, you gullible idiot."

The person who had insulted you widened their eyes and turned away. Faramir smiled and nodded, glad that you defended yourself well. You felt proud of yourself, too. But instead of just standing there, Faramir took your hand and continued to walk you to where he wanted to go.

He took you to a field of flowers. You two were surrounded by flowers of many colors and blue skies. Today was perfect. And now Faramir was going to tell you what he had to say.

What was he going to tell you? How important was this? Your heart was racing as the man held your hands and looked at you.

There was a few moments of a serene silence. It wasn't in any way tense. The silence was perfect, although you were extremely nervous. While you two were silent, you softly gazed into Faramir's eyes. All of this lasted a few seconds, but it felt like an eternity.

You have fallen in love with Faramir. He was just a high quality person who you wanted to spend the rest of your life with. A very weird thing to think when you two have never dated. The man wasn't perfect, no, and you loved the fact that he wasn't. It made him human.

"Well, erm... I have something to tell you." said Faramir.

"Tell me, don't be afraid." you told him. "I won't hurt you."

Faramir paused and gulped. "Well..." he sighed. "I love you. I love everything about you. Your bravery, your flaws... I'm just utterly in love."

You rushed into Faramir's arms and gave him a sweet and soft kiss. He returned it, his arms wrapped around you. This embrace continued for a few seconds, until you pulled away and smiled.

"I love you too, my love." you whispered.

Of course, being with Faramir did not solve all of your problems, but it gave you a good thing to your life. It added wonderful memories to think about. It gave you the opportunity to love someone like you never have before.
