*3rd POV*

The guild was tense and worried. Their master has been sleeping for the past hour and hasn't woken up. Even if their guild mate, Samael, cured him, he was still pass out. Though they had other thoughts, Samael, who appeared out of nowhere with a different look, a different presence, who was supposedly dead, stayed inside the medical room. He didn't spoke about where were his wereabouts, about what happened in the Tower of Heaven. He just went straight to the wounded and healed them. Another concern emerged from the Fairy Tail wizards as they saw Laxus walking straight to the Medical Room in search of his grandfather. Who had woken up a few minutes ago without the others knowing.

"Do you have any idea what you did?" Makarov asks Laxus, who in response averted his face to the other side of the room. "Look at me in the eye when I speak to you!" Makarov ordered. "You attacked the guild... the guild were you're supposed to care for your mates, a place where you can get great memories, a place where you get experience. A guild is a family... it isn't a property! You're supposed to made a trust with each other and more than anything else, it's where you connect a strong bond with others." Laxus looked down to his feet with what his grandfather said, he was right. "You broke the rules. You broke their trust and hearts. You attacked our family. And as you know that's something I can't overlooked."

"I know that!" Laxus exclaimed with frustration. He gripped his fist and looked at it with guilt. "I just... wanted to make... the guild stronger.." Makarov sighed and got up from his bed. Looking directly to Laxus' eyes. "You aren't in the right state of mind, Laxus. I've tried to look for solution, but you've left me with no choice." Makarov inhale deeply and exhale with nervousness. "Laxus... you're expelled!!" Laxus stood there with great regret, he knew it was bound to happens but he still feared for it. He started walking away. "Thanks for puttin' me up." He said. He stopped before gripping the door. "Gramps.. take care of yourself..." he said with a smile and left. Makarov turned around to hide his tears.

Laxus stood there, outside the door in the hallway. Thinking of where exactly he was supposed to go now. As he was in his thoughts someone was walking towards him. "Where are you going now?" His thoughts were interrupted by the voice he didn't know he needed to hear. "Samael... how..." he asked. Even if he remembers slight glimpse of him on his memory he wanted to know how was he alive. "Long story short I was saved. And here I am. Back to the guild, back to protecting other and saving them." He replied as if he had done the things he said all of his life. "Yeah.." Samael sighed and walked towards him. "I knew Master would've chosen this decision. I know for a place where you can go to collect your thoughts, if you don't mind that is." Samael offered. Laxus slowly nodded and he was given the information. They shared a silent moment as they hugged each other. Knowing they wouldn't meet for at least a long time.

After their shared moment Samael entered the room and was met with Makarov's back. Probably still lamenting his decision.

"I'm sorry to disrupt your alone time, Master. But I wanted to check on your health." Samael said. Master quickly cleaned his tears and turned his attention. "Yeah... that'll be best. But I want to know what happened to you, my boy." Makarov said as he was being examined and quickly notified that he was completely fine. "I know... the whole guild deserves to know" Samael sighed. Knowing he would get tons of questions as he would need to go towards the guild hall.

Samael was accompanied with Makarov. Giving him a quick ride to not let the poor old man exhuast himself. The whole guild stayed quiet when they saw the said dead guildmate. He felt slight nervousness when all the attention was placed on him.

"Uhm... It's obvious you're all wondering how I'm... alive? Which to be honest I didn't know I was "dead". I heard it from some civilians and magazines that I was. But... I'm not,so that's good.." He averted his gaze to the floor. He was feeling awkward with the tension. No one dared to say anything, but one fellow red hair stepped forward. "Samael... what exactly happened in the Tower of Heaven? You stopped Etherion, you took that hit directly and just... vanished! Of course we thought you were dead! Even the Council claimed your death!" Erza exclaimed with worry and guilt. She was the one who was supposed to be dead, not him. Even if he's alive and infront of her, he took the hit to save her. "Erza... I know I shouldn't had done that. But I did, as my duty to keep everyone safe. I took the hit of Etherion, but it didn't do much to me." He explained, but Erza wanted answered to where he went. "But where were you?! You weren't in the Tower of Heaven!" She pleaded for answers. "I... I was saved. Something.. well someone..? I don't know how to explain it. But I was teleported almost close to the borders of Fiore. I was restored completely of magic and any wounds I had were healed. That was for about a week. Then I came as quickly as possible. It was a surprised to see that Laxus decided to attack now. But he won't be any problem now." He said with his arms crossed. "Samael... I forgot to tell you but. With your death claimed by the Magic Council. You were given the title as one of the Wizard Saints." Makarov informed. This made Samael slightly widened his eyes and slowly turned his attention to the Master. "Say what... how... but... Dammit it. Does this mean that I am officially one?" He asks. "Yes, though I'm sure that if they get word that you're alive they'll come to ask you for a visit." Samae tch'ed and answered to the many questions the other guild members had.

After many questions he was left alone, sitting in the bar. He was trying to look for a specific white hair girl who he thought would greet him with a smile. But she wasn't around. He was going to look for her or to ask around, when he felt someone tugging his cloak. He glanced back and saw the person who he was thinking about, with bangs covering her eyes. "Mira..?" He asks, but before he could say anything else he was dragged down to the storage room.

She stopped after walking deeper into the room. She had let go of his cloak, but she didn't said anything. She had her back to him, though for the lack of lighting he could feel her body shaking. "Mira.." he tried to say but she abruptly turned around. Tears accumulating in the corner of her eyes. "You...." she starts to say. "Y-You promised me... that you would've come back!!" Her voice broke a few times, she started to hit his chest but not exactly harming him. "I-I thought you died for real!! I hoped for weeks for your arrival... that you weren't really dead..." Her tears finally dropped. Her voice was filled with sadness, anguish and sorrow. "Why... why couldn't you come sooner... I thought I had really lost you..."

Samael felt guilty seeing how upset Mirajane was because of his "death". He felt as if someone had pierced his heart. He remembered the exact same expression from her when her dear younger sister had died, he had promised to her to protect others from death.

He knew the feeling when someone dear to him departed from the living world, many, many times. Mourning for others was something he had gotten used to. But he didn't want his friends to experience that lost. Especially not Mirajane.

He tightly hug Mirajane into his chest, patting her head to at least calm her.

"I'm sorry, Mirajane. I'm sorry for scaring you, for worrying you and for upsetting you." He lifted her chin, caressing her tears away with his thumb. "But I promised you that I wouldn't go anywhere. I promised you that I would protect you, didn't I?" He sweetly asks her, earning a slow nod from her. Feeling satisfied from her response, he places a sweet soft kiss on her forehead. "Please don't shed more tears, I'm here with you now."

Mirajane felt more tears flowing down her cheeks. This time not out of despair, but happiness. Happy that her loved one was alive, happy that she could hear his low voice, happy to feel the warm from his body, and happy to see him.

She snuggle back to his chest, and mumbled. "Let me stay like this... for a little while." She wanted to see his face, to be sure he was indeed there with her, but her cheeks had a pink hue in which she didn't wanted him to see. Samael let out a small chuckled and complied to her little desire.

"Samael... promise me you won't do anything reckless again..."

"Only for you.. I promise."

"Promise me you'll be by my side..."

"I'll always be by your side.."

"Promise me... that you'll l... me.."

".... Always... my Lilith..."
