Sunghee's chest rose and fell peacefully as soft breathing noises were escaping her slightly parted lips.
After a long time she finally slept again, her legs now stretched out on the floor, her arms powerless in her lap and the bright rays of the rising sun greeting her body with a warm embrace.

Neither dream nor nightmare had appeared last night and although the girl had to make up for all the missing hours of rest, her body felt much better.
She felt as if a burden had been lifted from her shoulders and instead of continuing to torture herself, she fell into her own little world of rest and healing, wondering why life couldn't always be this way.

She yawned cozily as the melodic twittering of the morning birds could be heard, gradually waking the student from her carefree state. It didn't take long before her eyelids fluttered open, while her eyes slowly but surely got used to the brightness of the pleasant light that broke through the milky glass of the windows.

Carefully she sat up and was about to stretch her arms when she felt an unknown warmth and a heavy weight on her body.

Sunghee's POV

Still a little exhausted, I blinked at the warm sunlight, trying to get used to the sudden change of brightness, when I suddenly felt a strange pressure on my left side.
My eyes wandered lazily to the source, but immediately widened in shock as I was able to make out a person, silently sleeping on my small shoulder.

A moment of emptiness filled my head as I held my gaze, completely irritated and overwhelmed, at the dark brown hair that stood out in just about every direction.

Who the hell-?

With an obvious question mark on my face, I bend over a bit and tried to get a closer view on the person's face. Not a second later, an icy shiver ran down my spince as I saw no other than Lee Donghyuck peacefully clinging to me, being so quiet that it left me wondering if he was even alive.

With every breath he took, his own shoulders went up and down a little while his long thick eyelashes and his rosy lips only complimented his flawless face, causing my own heart to jump a little.
The light found its way directly on his sun-kissed skin, enveloping his entire being in a golden veil.

I never imagined one could look this effortlessly beautiful and captivating while sleeping.

"Like what you see?" Donghyuck suddenly sounded, shattering the trance-like state I was in just to bring me back to reality.
My entire body instantly petrified and I watched as my classmate finally opened his eyes before meeting my glance shortly afterwards.
