Roselia's POV

I remember when I was six, my father said to chase my dreams no matter what it takes. I actually thought to chase the dreams when sleeping. Pathetic huh? The next day, he said that he has faith in me and he knows I'll catch my dreams. I tried everything in my power to try lucid dreaming which I had no clue how since I was six. But today, I finally learned today that when your parents know something, believe them.

Today, I received my chance of a lifetime, to live the dream. As I looked in the mirror and saw myself, butterflies float in my stomach, I get goosebumps while just thinking about it. Never in my life, I thought that this day would come by so early. The ups and downs of a roller coaster made it impossible to reach today but thank the heavens that it came to be.

"Love is such a great thing!" Ari danced around the room with the dress I'm supposed to wear. After that, I only heard indistinct chattering between Ari and Caitlin.

"Careful not to step on the dress!" Vanessa shouted as she applied lipstick on my lips, the last step. My hair was done, tied up with curly strands falling down and flowers placed in them. Here's what happened. Vanessa basically had the same fate as I did, she switched majors. She became interested to the communication field so she applied to it. She graduated a few years back and the next day, she was hired immediately after she uploaded her resume. On the other hand, I'm still working on my doctor's degree. In just a matter of years, I should become a doctor. She eventually made up with Evan and they're back together but they still hadn't tied the knot.

"The world is spinning around me!" Ari chuckled as she fell back down on the bed with a slam. We were in Jenna's room. The only one not fancily dressed was me. Jenna insisted to remain inside the church to entertain our guests with her newly wedded partner as I sit with my butt cramped up due to too much of it. Jenna has always been a people pleaser and she somehow miraculously convinced me that she'd bring bad luck if she were to see me before the ceremony.

"Done!" Vanessa cheered and clapped her hands together excitedly.

"Thanks." I smiled at her and stood up, refusing to look into the mirror again.

"Time for the dress!" Vanessa stared at Ari, signalling her to deliver the dress to us.

"I want to look at it!" Caitlin got up to her feet from a sitting position and raised her hand up into the air. Even after years of being engaged with Ash, they still didn't plan their wedding yet.

"Here it is!" Ari zipped down the black bag that closed the dress to reveal the magic. It still amazes me to the point that I couldn't believe that today would be my fairy tale wedding. In just 6 months of meeting face to face with Jasper, I got married. We moved in together already, planning to create a wonderful family. So, I guess this is it. It bums me that my parents couldn't be here but I know they're smiling up in heaven as they watch over me. Jenna, Jasper's stepmom and Vanessa planned everything altogether. I had no problem. Jenna and Vanessa knew everything about me so I have confidence in them.

My heart beat accelerates every time the car moves another meter. It seemed like there was no end to this nervous feeling. I sat there alone inside the car with my wedding gown that weighed a ton. I was equally excited and nervous. When I finally reached the venue, hundreds of cars parked from end to end of the church, leaving no space to roam freely. I wouldn't say that it was overly crowded but it was on the brink of it.

I pushed the car door open when the car stopped in front of the church. A gush of warm air blew through me and I embraced it. The sun kissed my skin with its rejuvenating glow and my mind cleared for a second. This will be my last day of being a fiancé but I will always cherish today for the rest of my life. My dress flowed down gracefully as I stepped out. My veil dragged behind as I breathed loudly. I looked around and saw nobody except for Harrison, Jasper's father. He had a hint of a smile on his face, a unique ability that he rarely wears. He's always been dead serious, had no sense of humour and couldn't crack a joke. When he found that 'somebody', Jasper would talk more with Harrison and they'd share family times together. Jasper had learned to accept the fact that he had a new mother after more than a few arguments. Jenna never rebelled and always respected her so they had no problem.
