Honestly, I didn't want to go to school today. After what happened this weekend, I have no clue what I should expect.

However, I decided to come early since I'm trying to avoid Taehyung. He used to wait for me in front of the university's gate everyday and that's when our fake act will usually begin.

But after he left me for Jisoo at the party, right then and there, I knew we stopped.

I should be happy though as everything will be back to normal. No more dummy will annoy me and I don't have to see that stupid face of his.

I should not feel as if I'm heartbroken.

I was the first one to be in the room but before I can enjoy the silence, our classmates began crowding the place.

"Hey, Jennie! You're early today." Irene said as she plumped herself on her seat.

She tried talking to me but I can't lift my spirit up in the same level as hers. She did notice, that's why she let me be.

"Jennie! I saw Taehyung with Jisoo entering the campus. What happened? Did the two of you broke up? Or did he cheat on you or something?"

Unfortunately, that didn't stop Joy from bombarding me with questions once she entered the room.

So they really did got back together.

"You should focus on your own relationship before Sungjae finds someone who's better than you." Jungkook, who followed behind her, snapped at her.

Joy rolled her eyes at him and went to her group of friends to whom she excitedly shared what she saw.

Jungkook then raised his brow at Irene. "You're on my seat, Bae Joo-Hyun."

Irene stood up in annoyance as she muttered curse words before directing herself to her original seat.
"It's Irene, dumbass."

He only ignored her and casually sat beside me. I stared at him in confusion because ever since he dated Rosé, this will be the first time he'll sit here again.

"What? Am I not allowed to sit here?" He pouted at me playfully after noticing I have been staring at him for too long.

I scoffed as I diverted my eyes away from him. In reply, he only chuckled.

I can't help but smile at the thought that we may be back to how we used to be. I guess that's one advantage I should think of after the deal between Taehyung and I ended.

"I thought you're dating Rosé?" I finally had the guts to ask him.

I tried looking at his orbs but he avoided my gaze. "We are. We'll meet up during breaks and after class."

"Oh." I have nothing else to say.

Right. It's just a sit, Jennie. Nothing more, nothing less.

Once classes ended, I bid farewell to Irene as I went out of the classroom. But before I can walk away, I noticed Taehyung patiently waiting outside. What is he doing here?
