“Againts nekoma well start with this line up, for the second set we'll have Y/n switch with Tanaka” Kenshin said

The line up was Daichi, Hinata, and tanaka on the front and Asahi, Tsukishima, Noya and Kageyama on the back

“Y/n I need you to focus on this match and stop being an ass” Kenshin said loudly

Y/n who was picking up a stray ball felt an arrow went through his heart when he heard that

“This lineup hasn't been playing together all that long, so I don't think it'll be that smooth and easy” kenshin said

“Seems like there were all sorts of Problems before I came here, too.” He added making Y/n, Asahi and noya to sweat drop

“Just because you you've got a skilled libero and your ace has returned and that brat there also returned doesn't automatically mean 'Alright we can win this'” He said

Another arrow was shot directly at Y/n, he gripped the ball as he glared at kenshin

“You ass...” he muttered to himself, Kiyoko sighed and took the poor ball away from his hands before it explode

“The side who'll win is the one that works together. Regardless of how well you can complete using these numbers, this is a match between 'The crows and their old nemeis the cats” Kenshin said

“Right!” The others said while Y/n just rolled his eyes

Pulling out his phone from his bag, he switched it on and immediately grew an irk mark as he saw more than fifty messages and ten missed call from Rooster Head

As he was about to block the number his phone rings, he sighed and answered it

“Why weren't you replying?” kuroo asked

Y/n can hear multiple squeaks and balls hitting the ground in the background

“Why do you still have my number?” Y/n asked coldly

Kuroo smirked as he sat on a bench just outside the gymnasium where him and the others are practicing

“Cold as always, Y/n” he chuckled

“What do you want? If it's not important then I'm ending the call.” Y/n said

Kuroo's smirk dropped, his eyes looked up the sky and sighed heavily. He wasn't liking how Y/n have become remembering back then when Y/n used to live in Tokyo him and Kenma would always argue about a game and kuroo would stop them

With a clenched fist he forced a smile

“I just wanna know if you're okay..” he asked and heard a soft 'I'm fine' Before hanging up

Slowly glancing at the device he's holding, His heart felt heavy

“I'm sorry I wasn't there when you needed help..” he mumbled before standing up to head for practice

The day before the match, everyone was busy practicing and getting lectured from time to time by kenshin...mostly Y/n

“Your spikes need more power, don't stress yourself and don't hold back” kenshin said

“I know!” Y/n answered before asking another ball from Kageyama who's having fun tossing to Y/n

“Their..so...accurate it's kinda creepy and amazing at the same time” Y/n said as he clenched and unclenched his hand

“Is there something I need to change?” Kageyama asked

“Uh no..it's perfect” Y/n mumbled before leaving the court and a very flattered kageyama

Everyone stopped practicing when suddenly they spotted kiyoko holding bags of what seemed to be their uniforms

“Woah! That's the same uniform the little giant was wearing!” hinata yelled in excitement

Y/n sat on the floor while sipping on his bottle, He could care less about the uniforms it didn't excite him anymore. As he was busy minding his own business his face was met with a very familiar uniform with two digit number on the back of it

“You didn't get yours...so here” Kiyoko said as she placed the uniform beside him

He nodded and muttered a small thank you. He glanced at the uniform beside him

'No.13, I guess we're back at the game bud'

He picked up the uniform and unfolded it, He has a small smile on his lips as he looked at the Uniform.

“Oh! Y/n-senpai has No.13!” Hinata yelled catching everyone's attention

“Number 13 eh? Not bad.” Kenshin smirked as he could see the look of pure determination in Y/n's eyes

'This kid has a lot of potential...he will definitely go far if he keep continuity'

“Hinata's idol this little giant was at this school when karasuno was at its strongest, but back then, They weren't able to win against nekoma even once they likely lost in their last game as well.” Kenshin said

“That era ended up leaving in defeat. So go out there and clear our school's reputation ” he said, Everyone was fired up

“Yeah!” they yelled

Y/n held the uniform tightly, He closed his eyes and He inhaled sharply then exhaled it all out, he opens his eyes and smiled softly while glancing at his teammates

"I'm back.."
