Could you ever imagine of walking home after school under the scorching sun of Florida 5 days a week? Well I would not ever imagine putting myself under this situation, but if it ever did happen, I would probably die under the sun, literally.

Well in this case it would not be me walking under the sun or any weather for that chance it would be good old RT. My mom picked me up from school since I did not have my license at the time. But since the beginning of school RT would walk home due to it being about 5 minutes from my school driving but walking, I am not sure.

Many kids would be walking home from school being that many neighborhoods where close to my school. I remember when RT came to my school, it was the middle of 11th grade coming from Miami. He did not talk to many kids until he got use to the class, but I did not take notice of him walking home until now.

You know how the sun hits a person's face just right and it lights them up to look heavenly, well I notice that the sun hits his face while walking but shows no sign of sweat or tiredness . Honestly if it were me walking home from school, I will probably have to take a couple breaks and would be all sweaty.

Back to RT, he did not walk with anyone he would just walk while listening to what I would guess is music. He would sometimes get picked up by his parents halfway down the walk to go home. There would be day where he could not walk home due to rain, he would I guess wait for his parents to pick him up or something. I remember that on Fridays they would have these things called "spirit marches" in where the band, cheerleaders, and football players would walk around school just get pumped or something, but all I can say is that they were boring. I would usually take this opportunity to go to my mom's car early and leave school, but on this day it was different. They decided to take the march in the hallway in where my last class was located.

This time I had to wait until the hallway was cleared and nobody was there to notice that I snuck out. But when I did, I had the longer route of going outside where the outside building where and go through a gate. I had thought of just walking like a normal person, but I did not want to be slow so then my mom would get mad. So, I just booked it out of there, but when I did, I noticed RT turn around to see me running.
