This one's to all the people lost, To them who refused to bear your cost, To those who never were good with faults To those who inspired temporary life halts.
This one's to those who you would once die for, Now they're just not close anymore, To those who you once did need around at all times, But alas, all good things must come to an end as the clock chimes.
This one's to everyone you ever betrayed, You never did realise how important was the role that they played. To all who thought you couldn't understand, But you knew, deep down, life without them would be bland.
So here's to the fair few out there, Who couldn't fathom what was and wasn't fair, To all those who felt you invade their joy, To them who, complete with all their negativity, still couldn't destroy, Your cause of happiness, your sense of what's right, Because you wouldn't agree to go down without a fight.

Hello! I feel like I'm here after so long haha. Sorry about that (if you were amazing enough to care) :).
Anyway, here's a new poem (yeet). It is one of my most plain ones, but it's also one of those very close to my heart. I've realised that sometimes, to get a message across, we need to abandon any and all attempts to control the kind of vocabulary we want to use, and just let out hearts do the talking. I know, I know, it sounds cheesy when you put it like that, but, it is what it is.
So here's a huge, significant part of my life. Haha, no pressure at all (I'm so funny lol). We all have people like such in our lives. People who demonstrate such massively toxic behaviour and keep luring us inside their manipulative webs of lies that it becomes almost impossible to get out. But, what's even more important than removing yourself from that situation is to focus on yourself, first. Always. No questions asked. If your heart asks you to abandon this "friendship", do it.
I honestly feel like sometimes we focus too much on how the other person would react and how they would feel, that we constantly put ourselves down and let them trod all over us. So, no more of that. It's time to defenestrate toxicity from the roots, and give yourself the respect and love and care that you deserve. I believe in you. ♡♡
