𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 | 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐬𝐦𝐩 𝐰𝐚𝐫

The next few weeks went by slow, I spent my time in my room, wanting to leave but not being able to. My door remained locked at all times unless Snapnap came in to bring me food.  He walked into my room with a sandwich resting on top of the glass plate, he greeted me with a soft smile, "here" he handed me the plate. 

I looked up at him and took it, setting it down next to me, he looked at me for a moment, "you okay?" "no Nick, I'm not, I'm really far from okay" I spoke looking him dead in the eyes, I never called him by his real name, he was taken back by my comment, but he didn't lash out at me like I thought he would. 

"I get that, I can try talking to him" Sap offered, I shook my head, "he won't cave, you and I both know that. I've never seen him that angry" he glanced back at the door, making sure no one was around, "later tonight I'll take the seal off your window, okay," he said softly, I lit up, "really?" Sap nodded his head, "you can't say anything though, alright" "promise" I smiled at him, "thank you" "enjoy lunch Ivy" he said walking out the door. 

Later that night I heard a noise outside my window, at first it startled me but then I remembered earlier today. I heard the slight squeak of the window slowly sliding open, "Ivy" Sap whisper yelled, I shot up out of bed and opened my blinds, "thank you" he smiled at me and nodded his head before walking away. 

I waited a few minutes before climbing out my bedroom window, I didn't have anywhere to go but I had been inside for so long I just wanted to get away. I walked through the forest aimlessly, just admiring what remained. 

"Ivy?" a familiar voice said from behind me, I turned around and saw both a tall blonde boy and a short brown-haired boy, Tommy ran up to me pulling me into a tight hug. His familiar embrace was comforting, a feeling I hadn't experienced in a while. I wrapped my arms around him. 

We both pulled away and then I pulled Toby into a tight hug, "where have you been?"  "I was forbidden from L'manburg, remember?" I told him, "what, why?" "you haven't been anywhere though," Tommy spoke. 

I sigh, "yeah, Dream locked me in my room after what happened with Eret", "I knew we should have listened to you, but Will said otherwise" "it's okay, how is L'manburg?" I asked, "We're doing better" "good".  We didn't talk for too long, the boys needed to go back to their base but it was nice seeing them after so long. 

I went to bed that night feeling better than I had in a long time.
