Chapter 47

| In his eyes, I'm just the prettiest, isn't that right? |

In the fourth day, we decided to just stroll around my mother's hometown, tasting food and going to places that couple's around this town often go to.

When my parents found out about Ming Chen's visit, they were slightly shock but didn't comment further about it. They did shoo me out with him. It was unknown to me that Ming Chen had already told my parents about our plans and decided to keep me out of it.

It was the moment we left that he told me making me gnash my teeth in anger after all I did everything I can to make my parents allow us to have a date.

After I beat him up with my iron fist along with my immense strength of toppling the mountains and overturning seas, we had finally managed to arrive.

We're just lovers who decided to go out and experience the provincial life. No stress, no air pollution and certainly no people to his on after all who would think that an A-list actor would come here?

"Let's go there" Ming Chen pointed to a inconspicuous diner place.

There's not much people in here although there's two girls and one couple in here. We took a seat away from anyone's eyes.

Ming Chen decided to go to their table first and explain. It seems like he's doing this to avoid a fan of his mentioning their encounter with their idol on Weibo. They nodded and took pictures with him before he went to hold my hand.

I was with him when he was explaining, it was a bit embarrassing but I still stay. I know of the repercussions when you're dating an actor and a very famous one at that. I'm just happy for now, it'll be a bloodbath soon and I might be scolded to death by his fans and those in the higher up for stealing their talent.

After that, I look around and was glad to have found this diner. It's like you're in a fantasy garden in here, everything is made of wood and variety of plants on a pot, some hanging on the window outside decorated the whole diner. I was in awe at this place and immediately took a picture, then I pan on Ming Chen's direction

Ming Chen was wearing a cap, black tee with a jacket on and jean. His mask was placed on the table and his usual pair of golden rimless glasses were off. His tall legs fitted well into his jeans and his shirt looks fit in his body. I didn't expect him to sport a look of a young guy fresh off from college.

"What?" He mouthed as I snap off my daze.

I didn't knew that I was staring at him dazedly, I must have looked like a gaping fish! So I lowered my head and avoided his eyes, his fingers tipped my chin as I glared at me.

"Eh, is our Feng-er shy?"

"Hmph!" I pouted and glared at him, he just smiled at me and leaned back before stealing a kiss.

He passed like the thunder and move like the wind, I wasn't even able to react to his shamelessness before the waiter came to us. I didn't talk and just merely glance at Ming Chen before avoiding his eyes and turn my direction to the wall.

But then, I unknowingly met eyes with the people inside the diner and grew embarrassed at their boring stares.

I kicked Ming Chen under the table while he was giving his order, he didn't flinch and just continued and with a smile sporting on his face. It just made me annoyed more, to think that I'm the only one here who's feeling fidgety while he act like a gentleman, hmph!

The waiter left with a blush on her face and I was clearly getting more angry at him. How can he be this.... handsome! Now he got a string of girls in his hands with just a smile!

"That hurts Feng-er, don't do it again, hm?" He softly said with a tender smile on his face.

It seems like all my anger and frustrations vanished with just a smile from him. Seriously, I am so whipped for this guy and he doesn't even know it, does he?

"I love you"

It was all too sudden that I didn't even react when he steal a kiss from me, I was just too shocked at what I did.

"Love you too and oh- I forgive you" if he had just taken down the last sentence, it could have been more romantic.

Hmph, stinky guy, well- you're my stinky guy so it's fine.

Night has befallen and the cold wind picked up making me shiver in cold. I put my hands on Ming Chen's jacket and snuggle close to him.

His eyes narrowed in bliss before holding my hand that was in his jacket and squeezing it tight. Since it's already night time, it's perfect for a visit in the plaza and maybe buy some lanterns along the way and let them float high up in the air.

"Should we buy some lanterns?"

"Yep, what our dearest gongzhu said we will immediately adhere"

Tinkles of laugh from the people rang along the road as I joined with them. Children were seen running around the plaza, couples like us held hands as people that live from this town greeted each other.

We bought a lantern that's shaped into a rectangle, some were shaped in lotus flowers and animals, colorful and bright. We decided to let it go the same time the people around us did.

A sea of fireflies was seen in the sky, it's like a meteor shower lightning up the sky. I took my phone out and took a picture before posting it on my Weibo.

"How beautiful" I admired the sky filled with stars and the lanterns floating above us.

"My Feng-er is the most beautiful in the world"

I look to my side and saw Ming Chen, his eyes were on me and I could see my reflection. It was like I was bathed in stars, eyes beautifully curled in a smile as I watch him stare at me.

The crowd was no longer with us, the warmth in his eyes embraced my cold ones as the cheers rang loud and clear in my ears.

But it didn't matter, what matters the most is the look in his eyes. It was soul shattering, something that I didn't quite believe in had been shattered with just one look from him.

And in that moment, I had truly believe that in his eyes, I am beautiful.
