Hurriedly I walked around the last corner of a building and crossed the pedestrian path, only to see the boys from afar a little later. They noticed me after a few seconds as well and I made sure that the gun and the knife were not visible under my skirt, before jogging towards the three of them, who were obviously waiting for me.

I stopped a few steps in front of them and tried my best not to let them notice that I had literally sprinted all the way here from home, completely ignoring the thought that I was about to join forces with NCT, focusing only on the greater danger- SVT.

"You were faster than expected",  Jeno was the first to talk while looking down at me with his gloomy eyes.

One immediately noticed the difference between the boys' aura in public and the one in school. In class and during the breaks, they looked a little more relaxed and actually gave the impression of an average students or human being.
Their posture was not as stiff and alarmed and you could even say that they showed more of their true personalities.

Out here, however, they made the passers-by feel as if their own death was at their doorstep if they looked at one of the three for even a single second. Either their image was  quite important to them or they hated the public more than anything.

"Nice to see you, sunshine. You were fast indeed."

Of course Donghyuck managed to wink at me despite his currently intimidating appearance, not giving a shit if people eyed him weirdly because of his smug expression.

"I was just around the corner," I lied to both of them, skillfully ignoring their scary aura. In the end, I wasn't afraid of them in the slightest and I knew they wouldn't harm me.

"So..." I began the conversation straight forward without wasting any time, "where is SVT?"

I expected something like information or meaningful glances, but instead Jeno tilted his head to the side, his entire face bewildered, while Mark frowned and closed his eyes for a moment, before he shifted his criticizing gaze to his best friend. Said boy only pressed his lips together, showing quite obviously that something up.

"SVT?" it immediately came from Mark, who now put his hands on his hips to underline his judgment.

I looked at both of them questioningly , already feeling what was going on. "What else am I here for, dumbass?"

A little smile fromed on Mark's lips, earning a killer look from me right away. "Dude, you really lied to her? I thought you were kidding."

My chest instanly rose out of anger as I heard Mark's amused words about fucking Lee Donghyuck lying to me once again. Of course he was messing with me, that's what he always did. If the same former rage and hatred was running through my body right now, my impulsive ass would've probably  pulled my knife or gun already.
Lucky for him, I only felt this slight tingling sensation minimally and was able to suppress it with ease.
