I have lost myself
Again.
I saw myself,
But I don't know
Whether it's me.
I know I am
In there somewhere,
I try but my
Eyes refuse to see me,
I am screaming but
My ears refuse
To hear me.
I am happy but can't find,
The strength to smile.
I am empty,
I have nothing to give.
I am naked,
Yet I am covered but
My brain keeps singing to me that
Everybody is laughing at me.
I am running,
But I don't know
What am running from,
Or where am running to.
I am just tired
But am sleeping
I'm drowning,
And there is
Nobody to offer
Me a life jacket.
Only
There is a necklace,
Sitting on my neck.
My hands are itching
To play bad games,
With it .
Who hurt me?
My own expectations,
I have lost me,
Again.
