Levi invited me in to his place. At first, I was hesitant but give in after sometime. It was late which was why I was hesitant to take his invite.

His house was as beautiful as it was outside. There were excessive lights both inside and out. The house have a modern and vintage look to it.

He casually walked towards the open kitchen and opened the fridge and brought out two bottles of water and handed one to me.,

"So.." he started. "Tell me about yourself."

"You invited me in to play twenty questions with me?" I joked.

"Not playing twenty questions.." he paused for a moment. "But rather fifty?"

Although it was not that funny. I laughed.

He give me a smile.

"There's nothing much about myself. Tell me about you."

"I'm sure you have something interesting up your sleeves." He said.

"Where is the sudden interest coming from?" I rested my elbows on the table and put my chin on my hands.

"From here." He pointed to his heart and I raised one of my eyebrow at him to which he laughed out loud.

His laugh was deep and contagious.

"I cringed." I said scrunching my nose.

"I'm just curious about you." He shrugged. "You're quite interesting as a person."

"Thanks." I said. "But I would like to keep my mysterious side."

He cocked his head to a side and said,

"How do you know Smith?"

"I've known him since elementary school." I said. "We were classmates then and even now."

"Seems like a long friendship."

"Not really. We were acquaintances back then and even now."

"Acquaintance? Seems like you're more than that."

"I can get along with him fine when he decides to be polite with people."

"You've an interesting way to describe someone you dislike."

"I don't dislike him." I corrected Levi as I played with the bottle.

"So you like him?" He said quietly.

I stared at the bottle for a while.

I shrugged.

"How come you're home today?" I asked.

"I see where you're going." He shake his head. "What you mean how come? I'm always home."

"Don't you attend parties?"

"I do. It's still early." He said casually.

"Ten-thirty is still early?" I looked at my phone for the time.

"Yes." He grinned.

"Then I should take my leave cause it's late for me."

"Stay a little more? You've been here for less than ten minutes."

"Am I not fun to hang out with?" I teased him.

He laughed. "Should I burst your bubble or let it go?"

I folded my arms and pouted at him.

"I'm kidding. You're fun to hang out with."

"Thanks. I know. I don't need reassurance for that." I said.
