"Liz?"

That's his first time hearing her name, so Rhodes Island's operators really use codenames, but since Nightingale could say her name, does that mean her memory also came back?

Lin Yie asks carefully, "Do you remember your past?"

"My... past?" For a brief moment, she seems to be struggling internally, but she shakes her unease off and says softly, "I don't remember anything about my past."

"Nothing at all?"

"Just my name." She looks down at the bun in her hand, "And pineapple bun."

"... pineapple bun?"

"Liz." Nightingale takes a bite. Her mouth is stained orange with the crumbs, "And pineapple bun."

(Um. Her answer sounds strangely philosophical.)

Welp, philosophy to him is just something he doesn't understand but sounds impressive nonetheless. He wasn't smart enough to understand them.

Alright, just joking. Not the last part. On how he has done by now, he is now questioning how smart he really is.

But that not important now. He has an amnesiac girl in front of him that can only remember her name and favourite food is.

So, it is as Shining and Ansel said to him.

Although her mind is stabilized, her memory still hasn't come back to her besides her name.

Then, And Lin Yie recalls the night before, Shining did bring a few pineapple buns for Nightingale. It seems she really loves them.

(But somehow, she doesn't remember Shining. Is food more important than people to her?)

If yes, then she really is a devil.

Lin Yie is speechless. It seems logics really don't apply to mental patients. He still remembers the news he heard in his previous life, where a vegetable woke up as soon as he heard the sound of Mahjong.

Alright, his mind is going wild again. Bad brain!!

At the same time, everything he is doing right now is recorded by the monitors, and the operators behind them are watching what is going on between the two.

"As expected, Nightingale doesn't reject Lin Yie," Rangers sighs,

"He succeeded, so you were right, Shining. If it weren't for your persistence, we wouldn't have any progress."

Shining turns to Nearl. She slightly bow to her.

"Nearl," Shining says, "I'm sorry."

Nearl raises her head and is shocked by what is she doing to her, "Why are you apologizing?"

"I shouldn't have pointed my sword at you."

"... You didn't even unsheath your sword," Nearl sulks, "In the end, it is my fault for not willing to trust him. To give him a benefit of a doubt "

When she hears what Nearl said, Orchid interrupts, "But his entry test..."

Nearl gestures her to stop, "It doesn't matter. Where he came from and what he did last night are two different things. And he did help Nightingale, something we haven't been able to do for a long time by now."

"Nearl..."

"I will apologize to him," Nearl turns to leave, "But I will stay vigilant until we fully understand his talent and his past. Anyway, I am tired, so I will go to my room first to sort my head for now."
