a/n: hey i got like 3 hours of sleep, anyways have a good day / night ily

it was almost 3am and renjun could not fall asleep no matter what. he had been twisting and turning and forcing his eyes to stay shut but nothing worked. he sighed and stared at his ceiling. after spending the past two nights with his crushes he had gotten used to having that extra warmth next to him and arms around him to make him feel safe. now he didn't have them and the two pillows he put behind and in front of him to replace them weren't helping at all.

he got more frustrated as the night went on and eventually reached for his phone, taking of his bedside table and squinting his eyes at the bright light of his screen. he pressed the call app and dialed his best friend's number.

'injun? what are you doing, it's so late.' chenle's tired voice answered after a few seconds and renjun could hear a muffled yawn from the other side of the phone.

'i have a problem.' renjun sighed again and took the pillow in front of him to cuddle into it. 'well come on, explain then.' renjun rolled his eyes, chenle was still as sassy as ever even when he was tired.

'i spent the last two nights with jaemin and jeno and now i can't sleep. it feels weird sleeping by myself without their arms around me or jeno playing with my hair or jaemin whispering things in my ear.'

there was a few seconds of silence before chenle finally answered his friend. 'dude, you're more whipped than i thought.' renjun groaned and turned to his other side. 'that's not helping, lele.'

chenle giggled before he let out a deep breath. 'okay renjun, talk to them. tell them your feelings, that way you can spend all day cuddling with them, even though you do that already.'

renjun listened to his friend and shook his head before he realized chenle couldn't see him. 'what if they don't like me? i don't want to lose them.' chenle groaned and smacked his phone as if it was renjun.

'injun it's so obvious that they're just as whipped for you as you are for them, maybe even more. trust me on this.' renjun sighed.

'alright, thank you lele.'

'anytime you big baby.' renjun smiled before ending the call and he felt sleep finally take over him.
