Fired

Hi! So for a little context for this part I originally intended to get the reader fired from her job in the first part but I changed that when I edited the first few parts so if you couldn't tell from the title this part is me closing some lose ends!

Today I finally have a shift for my job! It's been a while since I've had a shift there and I'm running out of money -.-

I grab my uniform and walk over to the cafe I feel much more happy today I don't know what it is but I'm just so cheerful today!

I walk into the cafe and see my manager unlike usual she doesn't look very chipper- I wonder why she looks so gloomy it's really unlike her

"Hi!" I smiled at her

"Yes hello today you'll be working cash now go" she said in a firm tone

What the heck is her problem this isn't the manager I knew before, plus I just walked in the damn door. she must've had a bad morning I guess

I go along with what she wanted me to do and go to the cash I didn't have time to put my phone away so I throw it into my pocket and go to work

Time skip

"Thank you have a nice day" I smiled

I was so chipper this morning but now I feel drained it's been super busy today I feel like I've been smiling for hours now and my face is starting to hurt

I felt a buzzing sound go off in my pocket so I reach in and take my phone out

And unknown number was calling me so I decline the call and put my phone on silent then get back to work.

Only 10 more minutes until my break that's the only thing keeping me going I think to myself and sigh before putting my smile back on and getting to work

"Hello how may I help you today?" I asked but before I knew it I heard his annoying voice

"Y/n? Jeez I wouldn't picture you of all people working here" Steve snickered

"How may I help you sir? Do you need a table or would you like to buy one of our sweets?" I ask in a totally fake happy tone

Don't let him get to you Y/n you're better then that

"Im here to buy 2 cupcakes one chocolate one vanilla" he said

"Okay sir" I say and grab two cupcakes from our shelf in front "Will these two do?"

"Yes yes now hurry up" he said

God he really pisses me off

I put his sweets into two little boxes and ring his order up
"13.95$ now will that be with cash or credit?" I asked

"Credit" he says and swiped his card then took his things and left, while I finally get to go on my break

"Ugh that was the worst experience at least I'm on break now" I sigh but if things couldn't get worst I hear my managers voice

"Y/n come to my office please"

Her voice sounded so serious, I walked in and sat down on a chair in her office

"Let me get to the point, we've got a lot of new staff and I need to cut someone, you've been number one person I've been thinking of cutting which is why you haven't had as many shifts, I hope you saw this coming and I'm really sorry but I have to let you go" she said so dismissive

"W-What? But I didn't have any schedule at all how was I supposed to show you why I shouldn't be fired?" I asked

"It's nothing personal sweetheart but the other girls are a lot more suited for the job plus I've caught you using your telephone during work hours multiple times now it's completely unacceptable behaviour for a work environment" she explained "Now do you have extra clothes here? If you do I'll take your uniform now"

I can't believe it I just lost my job

"Yes I brought an extra bag with my clothes inside I'll go put them on and I'll just leave the uniform in my old locker thank you for having me for so long goodbye now" I say trying not to cry, sure I hated this job but I've never been fired before and the way she's been speaking to me is just rude

"Oh also here if your final pay check thank you for understanding" she said handing my paycheque over.

Time skip again

I wonder what I should do now I sorta don't wanna go home but I don't have anywhere's else to go

"Y/n..?" I look up and see a familiar face

"Cody hey" I smiled "I haven't seen you around lately"

"Yeah I've been pretty busy lately I got a new roommate so we've been hanging out a lot lately ya know?" He said

"So where are you going?" I asked

"Oh just back to my apartment I was grabbing groceries for me and my roommate" he said

"Well you wanna walk back together?" I asked

"Sure!" He smiled

I'm guess walking home with someone is better then nothing! Even though I don't wanna go home right now-

We walked for a little while and had some little fluff conversation

"So what's your roommates name?" I asked

"Oh her name is Sonia. Me and her started dating not too long ago and I asked her to move in" he said

"Oh you got a girlfriend well congrats dude" I say giving him a pat on the back

Cody continued to tell me more about Sonia as we walked home, by the time we got home it was already sorta dark outside Cody walked me back to the apartment

"Thanks for walking with me" I say

"It's nothing don't worry about it I had fun catching up we should really hang out soon" he said

"For sure anyways I'll let you go back to your girl see you" I wave goodbye as he leaves

I walked into the apartment and see the daemos just sorta staring at me?

"Uh hey guys what's up-" I was cut off

"Who the hell is that guy" Asch said

"What?" I said extremely confused

"That is the second time we've seen him around you" Rhys says coming up behind me

"You guys are acting weird" I say

"You're our princess that means you stay away from other people" Leif said

"Huh?" I felt my face getting hot then felt hands on my shoulders

"You and Ava belong to us" Asch said

"No one else's" Leif finished "You got that?"

I wanted to say something but I found myself speechless and nod my head as they let me go I run into my room with my heart beating really fast my face felt super hot

What the hell was that? They acted so different I don't know how to feel I thought to them I was only seen as their prisoner and test dummy but now I don't even know how to feel

Haha that was fun to write this was a part to simply tie ends to a lot things and a cute sexy moment (ew lol) anyways sorry I was gone for a month 💀 school has been taking up all my timeeee
