"I didn't know you drank?" A familiar voice asks, causing me to start grinning like an idiot while my back still faced him.

I clear my throat and wipe the smile off my face. I turn around to meet his eyes. "Just trying something new." I shrug casually, dropping the glass on the table.

"Well don't finish it." He says, proceeding to walk away.

I walk up behind him and tug on his shirt. "Wait, Mr Varallo," I begin, his back still facing mine. "I'm sorry about what I said in the car. I was just upset and I felt insecure when I saw all those rich girls in their fifteen thousand dollar dresses while I was there in my fifteen dollar dress. But it wasn't an excuse to be a bitch, I'm sorry."

He turns around so he's facing me now. "You know I don't care if you came to that party looking like Cinderella before the magic. You're still the same person to me."

"I thought you never watched any Disney movies." I smirk.

"My sisters forced me, when I was younger." I realized how hurt he was saying that.

"How many siblings did you have?" I ask. I know he might not feel comfortable answering but I still wanted to know.

"Five. 2 brothers and 3 sisters." He says.

"Tell me about them."

He says taking a brief pause. "I was the oldest so I was the protective big brother. Francesco was the second oldest. He was one year younger than me. He was one of those gaming nerds." He chuckles.

Suddenly, I realized that my boyfriend had the same name as his late brother. No wonder he wanted him gone.

"Gianna was the first girl and literally the biggest snitch I knew. She always told on us but she knew what was best for us and herself. Izabella was quiet and reserved and prefered learning about something or reading while Angela and Angelo were the inseparable twins."

The smile once on my face vanishes as I look at him with a confused look. "How old were you when they passed away?"

"9."

"Then how did you know all their personalities? The last two must have been way too young for you to determine their personalities and every child snitches. It's literally in their nature."

Subtly moving away from me, he begins glaring at me. "It's how I would have imagined them." He mutters. "Are you going to ask if something is wrong with me for that?"

"No!" I exclaim. "There's nothing wrong with that." I walk over to him and hold his hand. "Sometimes, I wonder what my family would be like if they were still around."

"Well, you didn't see your family brutally murdered." He snaps, pulling his hand away.

"That may be true but at least you got to know them." I say. "I never even got to know whether I had any siblings or what type of parents I had."

"I guess." He shrugs. I couldn't help but dive into the pools of his eyes. They were just so mysterious and lacked emotion but beautiful at the same time.

"I'm going to head back to my seat." I inform him walking away. Without protesting he moves aside so I can walk past him. A part of me wanted him to say wait.

At least they're talking... I hope you guys are happy with me... I think maybe I should show a flashback of Vincenzo interacting with his siblings.

Trust me guys, it gets better.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: DO YOU LIKE PLANE RIDES?
