not every filter works with every photo. however, you can always try to make adjustments!

if a photo is too dark or too light, mess around with the exposure and brightness until it's to your liking.

this won't always save a picture, as some pictures might just be too dark or have the wrong coloring.
my advice is to always go in and make adjustments!! play around the hsl, light, and colors!
