"The film wasn't bad," it came from Mark, the older student throwing his leftovers into nearest trash can while walked out of the movie theater.

"It was  a bit unrealistic," replied Jeno shortly afterwards, doing the same and following the ravanette outside of the theater.

"Are you kidding, it was great! Too bad Sunghee didn't see it-"

Mark immediately interrupted himself mid sentence, pressing his lips awkwardly together before he looked over at his best friend. The younger was scowling, his mood as if someone had just taken away his Christmas present.

It was just an hour ago when Donghyuck had come back from the toilet, looking quite happy and contenct with himself or his situation.
But ever  since the movie had ended and Sunghee hadn't shown up again, his aura had changed drastically.
No matter who or what he was looking at, if he had superpowers, everything in his near radius would have already exploded and turned to dust.

"What did you think of the movie?" Jeno obviously tried to distract the boy, only earning a killer look as well, which made him fall silent again.

To be honest, both members were quite amazed that apart from SVT there was someone else who could put their friend in such a bad mood.

Even though they were in the public and had to maintain their intimidating image, Donghyuck was actually kind and loving towards his friends when they were by themselves. He had always been affectionate, but right now this side had been swept away as instead he pulled a face like three days of rainy weather.

"Let's get going and have some dinner, it's already quite late".

Jeno agreed to Mark's suggestion right away, while the brunette only made a humming sound and kept his gaze at the floor sulking.

How could he not be annoyed? It was the first time that he and Sunghee had a genuine and calm conversation and he thought that she had started to let him in, leaving room to open herself up in the future.
Donghyuck would have bet his money that she would come back to the movie theater, but she didn't and it frustrated him in a way no one else affected him.

The boy sighed softly and continued to stare at the floor as the three made their way out of the building. They were just about to walk out the door when Mark suddenly stopped out of nowhere as the other two ran straight into him.

"Can't you watch-"

"What is she doing there?" the ravenette Canadian interrupted Donghyuck in the middle of the sentence while glancing into a corner of the lobby. Without questioning  their friend's words, the other two followed his gaze and searched silently until they spotted a certain person, giving her all their attention a second later.

Without realizing it, every bit of disappointment and anger immediately vanished as Donghyuck's shoulders gently slumped down. Relieved, he exhaled loudly, not able to prevent a comfortable and exhilarating warmth from spreading within him.
Unconsciously, his lips formed into a small, almost invisible smile, while his eyes continued to focus on the silky black and tousled hair.
