"You okay Ms Wilson?" the woman asked
"Yes, yes I'm okay" Kate chuckled
"You seemed to space out just now"
"My mind was elsewhere" Kate smiled
"KATIE" a voice filled the house
"In here!" she yelled
It took a few seconds before the echoing footsteps of the familiar teenagers rushed into the kitchen with smiles on their faces
"I just woke up in a mansion with a billionaire in the next room. I'm living my best life right now" Jamie chuckled
"Oh I've been there. Except the billionaire was my father but then I started to wake up to Kate's drooling face after he kicked me out" Ethan rolled his eyes, approaching the table
"that.. That went dark really fast" Jamie snickered
"I have auditions in literally fifteen minutes. I'm going to die" Ethan groaned as he dramatically dropped his body onto the table
"And I'm going to be late for work. Karen is going to kill me" Jamie groaned
"Should have known that before drinking a of that wine last night like it was water" Kate grinned
"Listen! I was scared! Alcohol makes me unscared!"
"I didn't force you to watch a horror movie and treat alcohol like snacks" Kate laughed
"That!... May be true, but still! You're my friend, you're supposed to take that bottle away from me" He pouted
"Nope. Kate was a little busy last night" Jamie smirked
That familiar burning sensation crept its way onto Kate's cheek as she glanced away, avoiding the strong gaze of her friends
"I have no idea what you're talking about" the brunette giggled
"Oh don't act all shy now. You know exactly what we're talking about"
"Sitting on Autumn's lap and looking completely flushed after you both came out of that kitchen" Ethan smirked
"What is it she said? Oh. We're just Co stars. Who casually fuck" Jamie laughed
"We don't do-"
"I wonder who topped" Ethan interrupted
"Definitely Autumn. Kate could never resist those blue eyes" Jamie laughed, bringing the brunette's cheek to an ever darker shade of pink
"Would you two shut up!"
"No"
"Well you're all still late so" Kate smirked
"Shit!" they both hissed, scrambling to their feet
"A bunch of dumbasses" Kate chuckled
The two teenagers grabbed something off the table as they made their way towards the kitchen door
"Wait. Where are you going?" Kate asked
"To work" they both said
"You're still hungover. Let Rick drive you. He'll pick you guys up afterwards and bring you back here" Kate said
"Ooo we're being driven around by a personal driver. Don't we feel special"
"That's what having friends in high places get you" Jamie smirked
