Question. Does anyone here have any pet peeves in Sonic's fandom?

Most of mine are from individual characters and how they act but the main one is fanfics that makes me, Shadow, etc. story'd having depression, purposely does self-hurt, wanting to commit die, etc. No offense but I just really hate fanfics portraying the characters wrongly like that and it lowkey hurts me to see them suffering hurt like that. Understandable that mental issues are serious and all of it deserves to be spotlight'd upon but it's also triggering to some and honestly that shouldn't be allowed in the fandom mainly because I was meant mainly for young folk. Also, fanfics having characters do the "thing" all because "Oh I ship (insert ship)" opinions. Shipping is alright and ignorable but wrong portrayal ain't. Imagine KIDS reading these things and thinking things like "I wanna do that because Sonic did." And that, fellow Mobians, is why I barely read fan stuff online. Fanfics are alright but in my opinion, to an extent.
