“Cant I like carve my name in his face?” I almost pleaded, trying to persuade Jared. We were driving to Oakley Lake, well, driving until the road shuts off then we would have to walk the rest of the way.

Anyway, Seth was still unconscious in the front seat, and you know when one of your friends is asleep and you draw on them and put things in their mouth and ears etc?

I had an urge to do that to Seth, but taking into account that he is far from a friend, I wanted to use the knife to ‘draw’ on his face and maybe ram it in his mouth after.

“Don’t take me wrong, that would make me very happy. However, it would complicate my plan so no.” Jared replied, pulling up and parking at the side of a road. I pouted in disappointment. He turned the engine off and turned to me. “I promise, what I’ve got planned for him is much better.”

“And how am I meant to be sure of that when you won’t tell me what it is?” I challenged.

“Because I’m a god, and know what I’m talking about.” The arrogant jerk replied, grinning.

I rolled my eyes and apparated out of the car. There were road signs up blocking the road. They looked pretty easy to move though I think that was in case of an emergency, like an ambulance or police could get through. I suddenly thought an ambulance would have come in very handy Monday morning for me.

There was a path besides the road, which I'm guessing is the way to go to get to Oakley.

Jared climbed out of the car, and walked to the passenger door.

“How far is it from here?” I asked.

“About a 10 minute walk down that path” he pointed to where I had been staring a minute ago, confirming my thoughts.

“How exactly are we meant to get there with that load in there?” I nodded my head to Seth passed out in the car.

Without using words, he answered my question by opening the door, grabbing Seth and slinging him over his shoulder. I raised my eyebrows, impressed by his strength.

“I work out.” Jared grinned proudly at me. I couldn’t help but look him up and down.

He certainly did.

“If you could tear your eyes away from my fabulous body, can we get going. I may be strong but this guy weights about as much as a baby elephant, the fat bastard.” He said, making me laugh.

It took 10 minutes to walk to Oakley. As we approached it, I could see the ‘forbidden forest’ as I liked to call it. There was a small field in front of it, but I couldn’t see a lake.

“Where’s the lake?” I asked, looking around.

“It’s on the other side of the woods. There’s this small field leading to the woods, then you walk through the 10 minute stretch of woods, which takes you to the field where you...” he drifted off, not wanting to say ‘were killed’ at the end of that sentence. He quickly continued “anyway, that’s the side the lakes on.”

I nodded my head in understanding. We got to the small front field of the woods, Jared was now panting heavily due to the weight on his shoulder also known as my ex boyfriend. I couldn’t help but laugh as he dumped Seth to the floor like the piece of shit he was.
