Maisie POV
After spending at least three weeks in the library, I decided I was going to make something after reading a certain book,
I was currently in my room tweeking a few things on the device I made, it was small and silver,
I just hope he likes it, and I hope it works I'm not sure though haven't exactly tested it out,
"That should do it," I mumbled
I brushed my hair out and got dressed I stuffed the device in my pocket, I put one shoe on and ran out of the room bouncing on one foot putting the other on,
I ran past dad and Pepper,
"Whoa, whoa, where's the fire Mais?" Daddy said picking me up
"If we find Clint and he uses it you'll see," I said smirking at him
He chuckled putting me down
"FRIDAY where is Clint?" Daddy asked
"He is currently in the living area with the others," FRIDAY said
He nodded we both took the elevator, everyone looked at us as we entered,
"Maisie how are you it's been a while," Bruce said
"Good, Good, Oh Clint..." I said smiling
"Yeah, kid.." He said nervously
"Oh have I got something, great...no, no awesome for you," I said smiling
He looked at Daddy,
Daddy just shook his head,
"Don't ask me she won't tell," Daddy said
"Okay follow me to the training room, Steve Natasha and Bucky I'm gonna need you as well," I said smirking
They looked at me like I had three heads,
"Oh come on you're gonna love this, oh and bring your weapons," I said
They nodded and all followed me into the room,
We get to the room,
"Okay kid what is this about?" Clint asked
"Let me see one of your arrows," I said holding out my hand
He arched his brow,
"Come on your gonna love it," I said
He nodded taking one of his regular arrows out of his quiver,
I pulled out the device out of my pocket screwing it to the arrow,
"Okay now, Nat, Bucky and Steve I need you all to stand on the far side of the room with weapons drawn," I said
They looked at me funny even daddy was,
"Trust me you're gonna like this," I said smirking
They all nodded and did as I asked,
"Mais what are you doing?" Daddy asked
"Just watch, Now Clint I want you to fire this in the middle of the floor," I said handing him the arrow,
He looked at me funny,
"Go on," I said motioning with my hand
He nodded and did as he was told firing the arrow in the middle of the room, and just like that Nat's guns flew out of her hands as did Bucky's and Steve's shield they all flew to the middle of the room where the arrow is,
Everyone looked shocked,
"Ha! oh yeah!" I said jumping
But there was a slight problem, Bucky was trying with all his might trying to get his guns,
"Maisie where the hell did you get that!?" Daddy asked
I looked up at him,
"Umm.. I built it," I said causing everyone too look at me in shock
I hit a button that was in my hand and it caused all the weapons fall
"How the hell-" Daddy said
"Like I told you I like to build things," I said
He smiled down at me,
"Very impressive kid," Clint said
"I've got to say I'm impressed," Nat said
"Impressed isn't the word for it," Bucky said
"Thank you everyone," I said smiling
"But it's just a prototype still need to work out a few bugs," I said unscrewing it from the arrow,
"Maisie shouldn't you be in school?" Steve asked
I shrugged my shoulders,
"When I was still at the orphanage, the high school said my intelligence was at a collage level, math, science english everything," I said looking at the device
It was silent and everyone was looking at me like I was crazy,
Daddy bent down to my level,
"So your saying your not in your age group, education and smart wise?" He said shocked
I nodded
"Yeah, obviously," I said pointing to the device
Then he picked me up,
"You sweetheart are full of surprises," He said
"So that doesn't freak you out?" I asked
"The only thing that freaks me out is how much more and more you and I are alike," He said chuckling
"Come on lets go see Bruce," Daddy said
