I walked out of the common room to see if I could find Daphne. I began to trek up the ever changing stair chases and as I was walking up I noticed water pooling at my feet. I followed the water to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom when I noticed Harry and Ron walking out.

"You two! I have no idea why you're in the girls bathroom or why you used polyjuice potion to pose as Crabbe and Goyle but you have some real explaining to do."

"We don't have to tell you anything, Malfoy lover." Ron said sticking his tongue out.

"I think you do, mudblood tonguer!"

"Hey I've nev-" Ron began.

"We needed to confirm a theory." Harry said cutting him off.

"And what's that?" I asked accusingly. Harry took a deep breath.

"We thought Draco was the heir of Slytherin." I looked at him thinking he was joking then burst out laughing.

"I know neither of you like Draco with good reason but he's just a big baby. Harmless Malfoy is." I said clutching my stomach from laughing. "If anyone is the heir of Slytherin in our year it's you Harry."

"It's not me I swear."

"I believe you, I do, it's just a bit random that you can speak parsletongue, and I don't believe in coincidence."

"What was Draco doing with that box he found." Weasley asked.

"Box? Oh the small blue on, yes. To be completely honest I have no idea. I'll look into it as long as you two stay out of trouble."

"You can't tell me-" I placed my finger on Ron's lips to shut him up.

"I'll see you guys around." I said strutting away.

Ron POV:

I touched my lips that she had just touched so gently.

"Malfoy is a lucky guy." I said shaking my head.

"Aww Ron you're smitten." Harry laughed.

End of Ron POV

I walked with Anthony to the hospital wing where he had to give Madam Pomphrey some ingredients for some sort of potion using madrake to help those who had been petrified. I leaned against a wall whilst he talk to the nurses, when I noticed Harry and Weasley walking in behind McGonagal. I followed them to the bed they were being lead to when I saw Granger lying there completely stationary. I froze as much as I hated that filthy mudblood we had once been friends and seeing her completely motionless did pull a little at my heart strings. I suddenly regretted being so mean to her. Harry and Ron turned to leave but saw me staring speechless at Hermione.

"Millie what are you doing here?" Harry asked.

"Umm... w-with a f-f-friend." I stammered trying to get my words out best I could.

"Are you ok?" Ron asked me.

"Y-y-yeah. I don't know why I feel like this we haven't talked in months."

It's ok, she was never angry at you." Ron said which was exactly what I needed to hear. I ran up to him giving him a hug.

"Thank-you." I whispered in his ear. Once I let go I noticed Ron was violently blushing. "C'mon Anthony, I'm bored." I said turning to give the Gryffindor boys one last smile before walking out.

Anthony and I walked into Ravenclaw to see our friends Gathered around Cho showing them a piece of parchment.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Look at all of these new rules." Cho said handing me the parchment.

"I don't want to be back here by 6, you guys know I can't study in the common room with all the noise." Terry complained.

"You guys know what this means right. The professors think we are in enough danger to have to escort us to each lesson!" I said reading the parchment.

"This is absolute bollocks!" Michael said throwing a paint brush at the wall.

I walked into my kitchen to find Father and Blaise playing chess. Blaise groaned as Father's knight took out his Queen. Father laughed and taunted Blaise playfully. Mother joined in with the laughter as she helped a house elf stir prepare the roast chicken. I sat on Fathers lap and took his butter beer out of his hands downing the whole thing.

"You cheeky little witch, I was going to drink that!" Father protested, pulling my thick dark curls into a ponytail. He had the bow in his hands and as he was about to clip it in there was a loud crash that sounding like glass being smashed. Several cloaked figures marched into the the kitchen. Father quickly pushed me off his lap and onto the hard tiled floors I hit my head and warm red blood trickled down the side of my face.

"Avada Kedavra!" One of the men shouted making green sparks explode from out of their wand hurling towards father. He screamed as it hit him. He looked me dead in the eyes before crumbling to the floor. Father still has the bow in his hand. Blood soaking my shirt.

I woke up screaming from the same reoccurring nightmare.

"Milly! Are you ok?" Cho asks rubbing her sleepy eyes. I wipe the sweat from my face and walk over to Cho's bed. I slide in next to her nuzzling my face into her comforting shoulder. She puts an arm around me and lets me cry onto her pyjama top.

I woke up with a jolt the next morning. I looked at Cho who was still sleeping soundly and smiled pushing a loose hair out of her face. I walked over to my bed and sat down. I nervously opened the draw to my bedside table and pulled out a blue bow with bronze stripes. I'd hated the bow ever since that night. I hadn't wore it since. I rolled the blue and bronze bow in my hand examining every inch of it. Blue and bronze. Father knew. He knew I'd be a Ravenclaw. I pulled the bow apart making it a ribbon. I pulled my hair into a bun and tied the ribbon around it. Smiling. Feeling at peace. Finally.

I looked over my shoulder in the great hall to see Hermione running in throwing herself into Harry's arms and giving Ron an awkward hand shake. I got up from the Ravenclaw table and walked over.

"It's good to see you Hermione." I said pulling her into a hug she looked surprised but hugged back. I went back to the Ravenclaw table and sat next to Cho. She nodded at me and squeezed my hand as if to say I'd done the right thing. Dumbledore began his end of year speech congratulating everyone. Half way through Hagrid burst in apologising for his lateness. Everyone gave him a standing ovation for his return from Azkaban. Except Draco who looked miserable. I knew he wasn't looking forward to summer with his father.

What a year it has been.
