~Aurora's Pov~

We just finished taking down as many walkers as we could, Glenn and Michonne were able to get Hershel out of the fields safely. Daryl came back with Merle, I'm glad he was back but I didn't know how to feel about Merle being here with us. I heard a soft whistle and I looked over quickly, startled by the noise to see Daryl. "Sorry," He mumbled, noticing he scared me a little. "It's okay.. Hi.." I said. "Took you long to notice I was standin' here." He said. I smiled a bit, "I'm a little distracted." I said as I stood up. "Mhm.." he said nibbling on the inside of his cheeks slightly. "I'm glad you're back. I missed you." I said. He shook his head looking at the baby. "Yeah right." He mumbled.

"I'm serious." I said adjusting my grip slightly. "It felt weird without you here. I missed you." I repeated, regaining his attention. He looked at me again and shook his head, looking down at the floor with his eyes then back at Judith. I kept looking at him. "Here, hold her." I said taking a step closer to him, "Nah- Nah. I ain't good with kids." He said taking a step back, I scoffed. "Shut up and hold the baby I know you want to." I said handing him the baby. He took Judith, adjusted his grip on her. "You're great with kids, drop the act." I said smiling at him. He looked at me and scoffed slightly, giving the slightest smile. "I'm really glad you're back." I said crossing my arms, it felt weird that I wasn't holding her. I didn't know what to do with my arms.

He nodded a little looking at me, "Yeah." He said softly and looked down at Judith as she slept in his arms. "Are you happy you found Merle?" I asked, "Happy ain't exactly the word I'd use." He said softly, I looked at Judith too and shook my head. "Don't leave again.." I said looking back at him. He looked at me too. "Please.. We need you." I said. He nodded slightly, "I won't," He said after a second. I gave him a soft smile, "Good." I said softly. "Where's your boyfriend?." He asked, handing Judith back to me. "Oliver's with Beth. And he's not my boyfriend. Shut up.." I giggled holding her. "Mhm." He smirked at me. "Go away." I said sitting down on the bed. "I thought you wanted me here." He said. "Not if you're gonna tease me, go away.." I repeated smiling, feeling myself blush a bit. I didn't look at him, "Hm," He said with the smirk still on his face. He walked away from the cell and I shook my head looking at Judith.

"He's not my boyfriend." I said softly to her.

~The next day~

"Are you sure you don't wanna come? You still can." Dad said looking at me. We were outside, He, Carl and Michonne were getting ready to go into town to look for some things we needed. I shook my head, "No, I wanna stay here, I feel weird if I'm away from Judith." I said looking at him. He nodded a bit, giving me a soft smile. He put a hand on the side of my head and kissed my forehead, then pulled me in for a hug. I hugged him back. "I'll see if I can bring you something back. Hopefully we'll get lucky.." He said, "Alright," I said softly. He rubbed my back a bit then we pulled away, resting his hand on my shoulder. "We'll be back." he said, I nodded. "I know, Just be careful daddy." I said. "We will." he said and took his hand off my shoulder. I looked over at Carl as he made his way over to us.

"I'm not hugging you." He said. I smacked his hat a bit, "Be careful." I said looking at him. Michonne got in the driver's seat and dad got in the passenger side. "Yeah," Carl said and opened the door as Michonne started the car. "I got the gate," Glenn said heading over to it. I nodded looking at him as he walked. I felt Carl tug on my hair and I looked back at Carl quickly, about to smack him but he got in the car and locked the door quickly before I could do anything to get him back. I smacked the car door clicking my tongue annoyed. He rolled the window down and I heard him laughing. He pulled off his hat and set it down behind him. "You're too slow." he said. "Shut up." I said and the car started to make its way towards the gate. Carl rolled the window down and stuck his head out the window, looking back at me. "Bye Rory." he said in a tone. I pretended to go after him and he stuck his head back in the car and rolled up the window again.

I giggled watching the car make its way through the walkers. I walked up to Glenn as he closed the gate. Beth and Olly took down some walkers before they got inside. Anything can happen though.. And as I watched the car disappear I got a little scared, making scenarios in my head, Carl was right I do overthink things. "Let's get inside. Cmon." Glenn said putting his hand on my back, I sighed a bit watching the walkers in the field. They all headed back inside, Andrea came yesterday alone. I'm glad she was okay, I thought we lost her at the farm but she's with The Governor, she said that he was preparing for war which was scary to think about.. They had a whole town, we're outnumbered. I just hope nothing happens while my dad is gone.

"They'll be back."

I looked back to see Oliver standing there alone, looking at me. He extended his arm out towards me. "You can't be out here alone, cmon." He said I walked over towards him and he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "Don't be worried." He said and rubbed my arm a bit. "They'll be fine. All you gotta do right now is focus on Judith." He said as we walked. I looked at him and he looked at me too, slipping his hand off my shoulders, giving me a soft smile. I returned it and he looked away, getting the door for me and we went back inside with the rest.
