AURORA ODINSDOTTIR

"So, it's back to Midgard for us then?" I asked Thor, who nodded, looking determined.

"It's been so long." I pointed out, and my brother laughed, patting my shoulder reassuringly.

"Two years is not that long, Aurora."

"Maybe not for you." I muttered, and Thor shrugged.

"A lot has happened here."

"A lot has happened down there too, since we're going back to retrieve Loki's scepter." I sighed, looking back at my father before walking down the staircase with Thor by my side.

"It won't take that long, and then we'll come straight back here. Keeping peace in the nine realms is our priority."

"I know." I said, grabbing Thor's forearm and turning to face him.

"What if I stayed there for a bit? We could catch up with the Avengers."

"Maybe." My brother chuckled, putting his earpiece in, grabbing Mjolnir and taking my hand.

"Let's go."

Upon arriving on Earth, the first voice to fill my ears was Tony.

"Shit!"

"Language!" A familiar voice responded, and I felt my heart flutter in my chest.

"JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?" Steve asked, and I looked at Thor, giving him a nod as he ran off to find Steve.

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken." Jarvis responded, and I sighed, turning a soldier to stone and looking around.

They've been busy while I was gone.

"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defence without it." Thor said, and I heard a few audible gasps.

"Thor? When did you get here?" Natasha asked, and I heard Thor chuckle, throwing Mjolnir.

"We arrived five minutes ago."

"We?" Steve asked, and I knew he sounded hopeful, making me smile to myself.

That's sweet.

"Yes, we." I giggled, turning another soldier to stone and wiping some dirt off my arm.

"It is our brothers scepter, is it not?" I asked, and I heard Steve chuckle to himself.

"I guess you're right."
