"Yo, Yoongi." I heard through the darkness. I cracked my eye open to see Jimin standing next to my bed.
"Do you wanna come with me again this morning?"
"What time is it?" I mumbled.
"Five."
I threw my hand over and grabbed my phone, looking at the time. There's no way it's already five. "Jesus christ, Jimin. It's four in the fucking morning. Go back to sleep."
"My phone says it's five." He showed me.
"Daylight savings. Go back to bed." I shoved him away with my foot.
"Oh— Sorry about that." He stood there for a second before slowly putting himself back into his bed. I could sense in his voice that he was embarrassed.
"Hey, it's okay." I said, rolling over to face him, "Your phone just probably didn't update. It happens to mine sometimes."
He hummed, "Sorry..."
"You're fine, I'm just going back to sleep."

Jimin was gone again when I woke up, and then for the rest of the day, and didn't come back until late. For the next few days, we went through this cycle of leaving before me and coming back after me. It felt like he was avoiding me, but I don't see why he would be. I just overthink situations. He's been doing this since the first day of being here.
"My roommate is still acting weird. I don't even know where he's going. Probably to hang out with friends but he's never mentioned them before. And always ends up passed out somewhere other than his bed."
"College life, Yoongi. Get used to it. Soon enough you'll be falling asleep in places that you shouldn't be." Seokjin laughed.
"I guess, something just doesn't feel right."
"Maybe bring it up with him? Or do you guys not really talk." He suggested.
"We've only had like two real conversations before. We don't talk much, to answer your question. Usually just a few comments here and there every few days. I mean, we've been here a month. Maybe we just aren't comparable as friends. Just... Roommates and nothing more." I laughed.
"Sometimes that happens." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Or you two will have a slow-burn kinda thing, just not in the romantic way. He could be just a not very friendly person. Wait— That sentence made no sense. Let me rephrase that," Joo butted herself in, "He could just have a tough time making friends."
"It just makes me feel bad, because I can sense that somethings off but I don't know what."
"Don't let it get you down, Yoongs. Seriously. It doesn't matter anyways. You just stay in the same room as him, it's not like you necessarily HAVE to be friends with your roomie."
I shrugged. "I just hate feeling awkward. Joo, you know this! You saw me freshman year." I laughed.
"Oh yeah, that was fun. He got really awkward when ending a conversation with a teacher and replied something dumb, ran away, and cried about it. He literally can't handle awkwardness for the life of him." Joo explained.
"Thanks for sparing the unnecessary details." I rolled my eyes.
"Anything for you, baby." She blew me a kiss. I gave her a disgusted smirk in return.
"Ew, you guys sound like us." Jungkook said from the other side of the room. "So stop, bullying each other is our thing." He joked.
"Shut up." Taehyung said, reaching up and closing Jungkook's mouth. He was laying with his head in Jungkook's lap, trying to take a nap.
Those two make something inside me feel really... Depressed. I've never been in a relationship before. As much as I'd like one, the opportunity has never presented itself. Plus, it's not easy to date when you're a guy who likes guys but nobody knows it.
Taehyung and Jungkook look like they hate each other sometimes, but I think that's what makes them special, and what makes me feel so envious. They've got something that nobody else has. Sure, they pretend to fight and argue all the time but right after that you can see them cuddled up with each other, looking so content with everything.
It makes me sick, but in a good-bad way. If that makes sense. Which it probably doesn't.
My stomach instantly turned in knots, "Hey guys, I think I'm going to head back to my room now. I've got a paper due tonight." I lied and said goodbye, heading down the two flights of stairs to my floor, and down the hallway, disappearing into my room.
