"What do you think about doing it less flamboyantly and more subtly." Zali offered, her head resting on her arm as she watched Vanessa try and explain how she wanted to do another huge dance but this time there needed to be fog machines.

Sylvia shook her head with a grin. "I think it should be bombastic." The succubus agreed.

"Of course you would. You're the Spirit Director." Zali rolled her eyes.

"A fog machine is a bit much." Kai agreed.

"It's never too much!" Vanessa answered. "Don't be a party pooper! Come on Syl, tell them how you want a crazy party!"

"I will." Sylvia smiled. "But why don't you sit down so we can discuss it?"

Vanessa went to retort but paused a moment and sat back in her chair with a gentle smile. "I gave you a headache didn't I?"

Sylvia rolled her eyes. "I'm not a delicate flower that needs to be cradled. If I'm having a problem and I need help with it you'll be the first to know. No, I don't have a headache, and no you didn't give me one. Trust me I- Oh fuck..." Sylvia rolled her eyes again and leaned forward, putting her head into her arms as Evania opened the door to the council office with her eyes narrowed directly at the succubus.

Vanessa looked between the two before grinning ear to ear. "You just lied to me didn't you? And Evania's not having it!"

"I have a little headache!" Sylvia's head snapped up. "It barely counts as one! I swear to god I'm not in any real pain! Otherwise I would have went home!"

"You yelling certainly won't help it though." Kai offered.

Sylvia buried her face in her hands. "I have shit I have to do Eva, I can't just leave because I have a little headache. Hell, if you want to stay and baby sit me you're more than welcome to join us, but we need to come to a conclusion on this."

Zali glanced to Kendra who was watching Evania with an almost knowing expression. Like she knew that getting between Evania and the succubi's well being was only going to end in disaster. "Eva." The President called from her seat at the end of the table.

Evania looked from Sylvia to her, waiting to be reprimanded for showing up without warning to take her girlfriend from the meeting.

Kendra went to speak but then sighed deeply, realizing if she tried to sympathize with her she was definately going to out herself in front of all her friends and council members. She pointed to Vanessa with a glare that could kill. "If you breathe a word of what I'm about to say to anyone, I'll not only erase you're memory, I'll send you to an alternate dimension until I feel like bringing you back. Understand?"

"Am I the only one being threatened?" Vanessa asked, looking quite offended.

"You're the only one who would tell." Zali rolled her eyes.

"Close the door Eva." Kendra called.

The vampire answered by pulling the door shut behind her before looking back at Kendra expectantly.

"I know it hasn't exactly been subtle. But, I'm just going to confirm all your suspicions now. I don't know if Desdemona and I are 'dating' but we're definately more than friends. We have a contract, and while I won't get into the specifics of that contract for obvious reasons- no it's not a sex thing-" She shot another threatening glare at Vanessa who was about to speak up before continuing. "I care about her." She looked back to Evania. "And Sylvia's right, she's not a frail little child. If anything she's probably the oldest person in this room right now and probably more powerful than me." Kendra shrugged.

"Just because she got hurt, does not mean that she needs to be taken care of all the time. She knows her limits better than all of us, and yes, she is acting a little too stubborn for my liking too. But pushing her and coddling her isn't the way to get her to see that. She doesn't coddle you because you can't speak does she? We don't coddle Kai for being blind? We don't coddle Zali because she has some breathing problems do we?"
