There was no practice today since the college volleyball team are currently using the gymnasium for practice.

Inside the gymnasium was Y/n watching the others play, he was observing every move and somewhat trying to learn them just by imagining him doing it. Coach washijō have been pushing him to his limits, being forced to play throughout the entire game, forcing to try new positions such as being a middle blocker or a setter which he hated the most since he couldn't tossed the ball properly

“Oi, Want to join us? We're lacking one member” one of the college player called him

“Ah..I don't think coach washijō would want to see that..” he rubbed the back of his neck

“What the hell are you talking about, go play with them brat” The demon coach appeared behind him and gave him a smack on the head

“You old geezer..” He muttered before going towards the court

He felt a tap on his shoulder, he turned and saw a college student smiling at him

“I'll toss the ball to you okay? I want to see you play” He chuckled lightly before focusing on the game

The game started with their team serving, once the ball was up in the air the other team received it flawlessly and send it to their setter who tossed to a their wing spiker

The ball almost landed on the floor until someone dived in and saved it, the ball flew towards the setter who game Y/n a nod

The younger male backed up a bit and watched the ball as it lands on the setters finger before tossing it towards him

He ran and jumped, some of the students held their own breath at the sight of the younger male flying, there was a sudden drop of temperature it became cold and it gave them shivers

Y/n's palm touched the rubber of the ball and slammed it down creating a loud boom inside the gymnasium, it sounded as if a lightning just occurred the ball bounced so far that it was sent outside the gyms door

“Ah Shit- let me get it!” Y/n said as he ran for the ball

Once he was out the door his eyes widened when suddenly he saw Hinata jumped to get the ball, he landed so gracefully stunning ushijima

“I'm Hinata Shouyou, and I sprouted from that concrete ” Hinata said walking closer towards ushijima

He handed him the ball and eyed the male with full determination

“We're going to knock you down and go to the nationals.” He declared

Y/n stood there awkwardly as he watched his former kouhai declares war towards his now captain ushijima.

Kageyama's eyes widened at the sight of his upperclassmen watching the two, after seeing him spiked the ball his heart stops at the sight. It was terrifying how the ball created a loud noise

“Y/n-sen-” He was cut off when suddenly someone from shiratorizawa came and told them that they're not allowed to be there

“Thank you for showing us inside and sorry for the intrusion ” Hinata bowed before turning to leave

“Uhm..if oikawa-san is the strongest setter in prefecture, then what am I who surpasses that.” Kageyama said before following hinata

Y/n couldn't help but to smirk, he was amuses of what those two have become. They have the guts to tell Ushijima that they'll knock him down

“Well that was amusing. ” Y/n chuckled as he looked at Ushijima who as a Wicked smile

He raised and eyebrow at his captain, he felt creeped out so he just went back inside telling the other that the ball was being held hostage by some weirdo outside the gymnasium, they just gave him confused looks but continued to practice anyways.

Meanwhile hinata and kageyama walked home while wearing a very determined look on their faces

“Well the way things stand,we can't win against seijou, who can't beat shiratorizawa though.” Kageyama said

“If we defeat both of them, that won't matter even if they have Y/n-senpai with them” Hinata said

“Now you're talking” kageyama smirked

Both of them was determined to defeat not just Ushijima but Y/n as well, Just seeing him practice along with the colleges ignites a fire inside of them. The way Y/n slammed the ball with full force sents shiver down their spine and gave them goosebumps

It was so beautiful yet terrifying to watch.

“Thats why we're going to Tokyo, the best way to become strong is to duke it out a lot with guys who are strong already.” Hinata said

Little do they know, Shiratorizawa will be there as well..
