The unexpected
"THANKS for today, Gonz," I said, flashing him a warm smile.
He simply nodded and gave me a quick kiss on my cheek, making my heart skip a beat.
What the hell? He's been doing that since we were kids! Why am I reacting this way now?
"See you on Saturday, Ra," he said, flashing me a genuine smile one last time before stepping inside his car.
Shaking my head, I went inside the dormitory and walked straight to my room. Naabutan ko si Dithri na nag-re-review sa study table niya kaya hindi ko na siya ginulo at dumiretso higa na ako.
I really think I need to stop bothering Gonz. Masyadong malayo ang De Grande Town dito sa Vera City at ayoko namang dumagdag pa sa pagod niya.

I scanned every room along the hallway to see if I belong to that class.
Nakalimutan ko kasing dalhin 'yong phone ko, eh doon naka-save ang sched ko. Year and subject lang ang natatandaan ko do'n sa sched, pero 'yong room ko ay hindi ko matandaan.
Oh, perfect. I just saw Bellamy leaning on the locker, almost making out with a girl.
I rolled my eyes. Isang araw pa lang ang nakalilipas, iba agad ang babae niya. Paano niya nagagawa 'yon? Feeling niya ba mauubusan siya ng babae?
Shaking my head, I marched towards him. When I finally got his attention, he simply gave her a dismissive wave of his hand and went straight to me, leaving the girl behind.
"Good morning, Keen," he said, grinning at me.
I flashed him a sweet smile. "Do you want to be useful?"
Agad siyang natawa. "What was that about, Keen? Are you asking me on a date?"
"In your dreams, Bell," I said grumpily.
"If you're not asking me on a date, then what brings you here?" he questioned, raising a brow at me.
"Saan klase natin? 'Di ko na nadala phone ko, eh. Nando'n sched ko."
"Oh. How irresponsible of you, Keen." He scoffed, shaking his head as if it's the worst thing I've ever done. Ugh. He's really annoying!
"Let me escort you then," he insisted and started walking first.
"Ah. Wait," bigla niyang sabi saka siya humarap ulit sa 'kin. "I'll use the stairs. See you," paalam niya at akmang aakyat na ng hagdan sa kaliwa ko pero lumingon ulit siya sa 'kin dahil may nakalimutan ulit siyang sabihin.
"Fourth floor, by the way," he informed me.
Shaking my head, I rolled my eyes. Eh 'di siya na nakakapag-exercise lagi gamit hagdan. Gusto ko rin kasi talaga maghagdan hangga't maaari, for training purposes. Kaso dahil hindi pa ako puwede, talagang tiyaga muna ako sa elevator.
Buti na lang walang gaanong pila ngayon sa elevator dahil 10AM na.
Pagkarating ko sa fourth floor, nakita ko agad si Bellamy na nakasandal sa pader malapit sa elevator. Seriously? Nauna pa siya sa 'kin? Grabe ang bilis talaga tumakbo nito. O baka naglakad lang siya at sadyang mabilis lang talaga 'yong lakad niya dahil sa haba ng legs niya.
Pinagmasdan ko siya. He's not even sweating!
"Oh, please. Don't drool over me." He chuckled.
"I'm not drooling! And if ever I was, it's not because of you!" I retorted.
