Chapter 32 : Imperial Hunt

"Bao Bao is so good. I love you! Do you love me?

Ohh! I know. Bao Bao loves me too! I'm so happy. Hehe..." Su Ying said while lovingly touching his stomach.

Yusheng looked at the scene in front of him. No matter how many times he saw that, he just couldn't help but be happy.

His wife is just so cute! Ahhh... He didn't want to go to work... But alas... It would be bad if his wife broke his legs...  And it would be worse if his wife broke his third leg too. How would he serve his kitty then?

The God who choked Su Ying to death sighed. This guy...has become a huge masochist for his wife ah... He is what you say...gone case. Well, at least in a good way.

Yusheng went closer to Su Ying and kissed his forehead while gently caressing his cheeks.

"I'll be back soon. Take care of yourself. Eat timely. Be careful while walking. And if you feel any discomfort, immediately tell the person closest to you. Alright?"

Su Ying smiled as he said, "Okay okay. I'll be careful. You say all these things every time you go out! Don't worry to much!"

Yusheng frowned and pinched his wife's cheek, "Be good."

"I'll be good. Now don't be late. Come home soon."

Su Ying said as he pecked his hubby's lips.

Yusheng said before kissing Su Ying abdomen, "I'll be back soon. You should be good too, baby."

Su Ying looked at his hubby who came back in quite a bad mood. Those people were really capable for making such a calm person like his hubby angry.

He tried to get closer to Yusheng but before he could even move, Yusheng forbade him from doing so as he himself went to his wife.

Su Ying hugged Yusheng.

"What happened?"

Yusheng looked down and kissed his head.

"They are too much."

"What did they do again?"

Yusheng sighed as if to control the anger boiling inside him.

"The Emperor called us today to discuss about 
the preparation for the Imperial Hunt this autumn. The discussion went well.

In the end, I asked the Emperor if he could spare you from attending the Imperial Hunt as you are pregnant. The Emperor almost agreed.

Until everyone else rejected the idea with the excuse of you being my wife. They said that your presence will increase the moral of the soldiers. So you must attend the first day of the hunt. How absurd is that!

The whole counsel is mostly divided into two fractions. One supporting the Empress, the other on the Noble Consort's side. And they both don't wish well for you. On that day, I won't be able to stay beside you. What if someone tries to do something?

I'm... I'm just so worried. Su Ying, why is it that...no matter how much I try, I can't keep you away from these things? I'm just getting angry at myself."

Su Ying sat on his hubby's lap and hugged him tighter as he rained kisses on his face.

"Hubby... What are you being afraid of? Don't worry at all. You know how smart your wife is... Those people are so low on IQ. Their IQ is equivalent to a turkey's. At least turkey is delicious. Don't think they can ever outsmart me!

And I'll have guards. They'll be protecting me. I'll be super careful myself.

Don't ever doubt yourself. You're the best hubby! I love you!"

Yusheng looked at Su Ying's bright eyes and couldn't help but kiss him.

Su Ying was a bit surprised by the sudden kiss. But he soon adapted to it as he wrapped his arms around Yusheng's neck and kissed him back.

The wet sound of their tongue entangling, their saliva mixing together while they both licked every corner of the other's mouth, savoring the sweet taste only enticed them into kissing and biting each other's lip again and again. They only stopped when Su Ying felt out of breath.

Su Ying provocatively smiled and licked the saliva coming out of the corner of his lips.

"Ah ah... We ate the dessert first. Now I'm hungry for the real food. Let's eat! Bao Bao is hungry too!"

Yusheng looked at his little brother poking out for attention and sighed. What could he do? He could only endure and do what his wife wants.

Let's have a moment of silence for Yusheng' poor little brother...

The day of the Imperial Hunt.

Su Ying was feeling a bit sick from travelling in the carriage. But he could hide that for the time being as he didn't want to worry Yusheng. He took his hubby's hand while Yusheng supported him to walk.

Su Ying was wearing a pure white hanfu with delicate patterns. It made his facial features look even softer and paler. Only his lips looked bright red. He was looking like an immortal.

Yusheng was actually one step away from losing his sanity. His wife was just so beautiful. All he wanted was to carry his wife and run away to somewhere unknown....

Everyone couldn't help but look at the couple. Especially Su Ying and his big stomach. By then, they already knew that the General's wife was pregnant and had already praised the General's vitality . But looking at that with their own eyes was different from hearing about it.

Su Ying and Yusheng went to greet the emperor while ignoring all their gazes.

"May your majesty live a thousand years."

"Hohoho... Yusheng and Su Ying, Congratulations to the two of you. We were really happy when we heard the news."

"Your majesty is benevolent." Su Ying said while politely smiling.

"Hoho... It's a happy news indeed."

"Your majesty is right. Congratulations to you Yusheng and... Su Ying..." The Empress said with a 'smile'.

Noble Consort Li NanYin also didn't spare her chance to butt in, "Yusheng is my nephew indeed."

"Well, he's also my nephew." The Empress said.

Waa.... Look at the sparks in their eyes. If eyes could kill people, the Empress and the Noble Consort might have destroyed each other.

Before they could start their own fight, Yusheng interrupted them. He said to the Emperor, "Your majesty, there's still something I have to do. Please excuse us."

Yusheng took Su Ying to the tent he specially prepared for him. He looked at his wife who 'obediently' did what he asked him to do. He cupped Su Ying's face in his hand as he said,

"Don't run around. Stay here. Don't take anything anyone gives to you. Be careful ok? If someone comes to chat with you, send them away as soon as possible. Don't leave Gu Rong's side no matter what."

Su Ying pouted, "I'm not a baby! I know all of that and will be careful okay? Now you go. Be sure to hunt something good. Bao Bao wants to eat something delicious!"

The baby in Su Ying's womb, "..............." Mother! It's you who want to eat delicious meat! Don't make me seem like a foodie!

" Go go... Here's your protective charm." Su Ying  said as he kissed Yusheng' lips.

Bystanders,"............" Ignore! Pretend you didn't see them. Look at the moon. So beautiful ah...
Oh wait! It's still day ah!
