"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞?"

And he was rather surprised that someone had come up to him and asked for his name. He looked at her, looking at how she had on a gentle smile and soon felt someone patting on his head, which he turned to look at his mother.

"Don't keep her waiting, introduce yourself," she spoke out and he nodded his head as he bowed towards the stranger who had asked for his name. Yet, he couldn't take his plum coloured eyes off from her looks.

How her hair was as white as snow. How her smile was as gentle as the snow that was falling upon them from the sky, and he watched as her eyes held nothing but curiosity, still wondering what his name was.

"Kiriya... Ubuyashiki Kiriya," he whispered out softly and noticed how she started to bow down as well, her long white hair covered her face just a little as she spoke her name as well.

"Fuyuki [name]," she spoke out.

"Fuyuki-san," he responded, and [name] laughed softly as she waved it off.

"Just call me [name]," she spoke out, and Amane couldn't help but softly laugh as she noticed how her son had on a deep blush across his face, getting all shy due to a young girl who was his age as well.

"Let's go now, Kiriya," Amane spoke out and [name] bowed once more and soon waved goodbye to Kiriya and his mother, watching as they walked through the pavement that was covered just a little with snow.

And Kiriya turned to look, watching as [name]'s smile continued to remain on her face.

"Kiriya, is something wrong?" Amane asked, and Kiriya turned to look at his mother as he held onto the bag tightly that was given by [name], who was instructed by her mother to do so as she was busy.

"Will I see her again?" he asked.

He sat alone on the patio, watching as the snow started to gently fall upon the earth from the sky. His lips parted as he raised his small hand out, allowing the snow to fall upon his open palm, and he couldn't help but smile at it.

"Ah, Kiriya-sama!" and he turned to look, a deep blush spread across his face as he noticed her once more, coming to visit the Ubuyashiki estate every now and then as she was required to deliver the necessary medications for his ill father, Ubuyashiki Kagaya.

"[n-name]," he stuttered out as he quickly got off the patio and ran towards her, only to have his plum coloured eyes widened as she dropped the bag and lunged forward at him, hugging him tightly as they landed on the snow-covered ground.

He was a mess as he heard her giggle, and he couldn't help but feel his heart skip a beat as they sat up on the ground, watching as she gathered the snow in her small hands, forming a snowball.

"Here," she spoke out, and Kiriya looked at her confusedly.

"Throw it at the tree, let the stress out," she spoke out and Kiriya's eyes widened at what she had said. He was rather surprised, yet intrigued at the same time as he wondered how [name] knew that he was feeling stressed out.

"It's shown on your face, Kiriya-sama," she spoke out as she grabbed hold of his hand in hers, placing the snowball in his hand and pointed towards the tree once more.

"Throw with all your might as if you are throwing away your stress," she spoke out with a wide smile and Kiriya nodded, standing up as he easily threw the snowball towards the tree. His eyes widened at how relaxing it felt and he gathered the snow, making more snowballs as he hurled them towards the tree.

"Ki-," and Amane stopped in her tracks as she looked at what was happening. A gentle smile appeared on her face then as she watched her son playing in the snow with [name], a mere young girl who wasn't part of the Demon Slayer Corps.

But somehow, she knew that [name] was playing a much bigger role in Kiriya's life.

"Ah!" [name] called out as she fell to the ground on her back, startling Kiriya as he quickly ran towards her side and checked if she was alright for he had hurled the snowball right in her face, causing her to stagger back and fall.

"A-Are you okay?" he asked, and [name] giggled as she sat up and dumped a whole lot of snow on him.

"I'm more than okay when you are okay!" she said with a wide smile, and he couldn't help but have a deep blush across his face once more. He watched as she stood up and ran towards the bag that she had discarded earlier.

"I must get going! My mother is waiting for me at home, this is for the week! Take care, Kiriya-sama. I'll see you soon!" she said with a smile as she handed him the bag and turned, waving as she ran away.

"Kiriya, you are going to catch a cold if you don't come in soon," Amane's voice was heard and Kiriya turned to look at her. He slowly nodded his head as he trudged through the snow and walked over to where his mother was, handing him the bag.

He watched as the back of [name]'s figure was disappearing, and soon it was out of his sight. Amane could only smile gently at the way her son was acting as she dusted the snow off of him, and soon placed a cold hand against his cold cheek, caressing it with her thumb.

"Are you okay?" she asked, and Kiriya slowly nodded his head in response as he turned to flash a small smile to his mother, who could only laugh softly at the way he was reacting to her question.

"Let's get you warmed up," she spoke out and Kiriya nodded his head as he followed his mother, heading towards the common room where his father was sitting up and looking towards the outside of the room, where the snow was still falling gently in the view.

He settled next to his father as he wrapped himself in a warm blanket, and soon grabbed hold of the cup of hot green tea that his mother had handed to him. He took a sip, allowing the warm liquid to soothe his cold body.

"Kiriya," and Kiriya tensed up when his father called upon him, only to hear a soft chuckle coming from the man himself.

"Do you like the snow?" he asked, and Kiriya's cheeks flushed red at the question.

"Yes... I do, Father," he whispered out.

"And why is that?" his father probed a little more and Amane could only softly giggle at how Kiriya's face flushed red instead.
