"Pleasant good morning, welcome to Torry's Cafe! Can I suggest a cup of our finest caffine?" I greeted the grumpy looking old man who sat at a table alone.
"If I wanted something don't you think I would've ordered something missy ?" He rudely spat.

I took a deep breath before speaking up again.
"In that case, feel free to let me know when you're ready to order anything" I said with the fakest smile ever.
"You're not the only waitress here pumpkin believe me you wouldn't be my first option." He said not sparing me a glance. I was really running thin on patience with this guy. What the hell is his problem anyway? It's barely 10 in the morning, the sun is out and blazing with a vengance so what could have him in such a bad mood this early in the day. I excused myself from the table before I found a reason to go off on a customer again twice in a row this week.
"A difficult one huh?" Kiana asked.
"You know I always get the difficult ones." I rolled my eyes.
Kiana is my closest friend and my roomate. We're actually like sisters one reason being because people actually believe we resemble each other and our close names. Kiana is 20 years, that two years younger than me but she's real mature for her age so you'd think she's like 25. We've been friends for a few years now and she is a really my walking diary. We tell each other everything and have alot in common. We're both attending college online, from single parent family, both an only child and raised by a mother who acts like she was forced to take care of us so I guess it's why we understand each other so well.
"Don't let these customers get you in a bad mood Kiara, the day has just started just do your thing. The day will be over before we know it." She said offering me a smile.
