The Accidental Wedding (Completed)

Chapter 25

Aarav's POV

I woke up and looked for her. She was not in the room. Where did she go so early? I got up and quickly went and got ready.

I came downstairs and saw Kabir entering the hall. I greeted him and he gave me a strange look.

"Do I know you?" he said.

"Are you suffering from short term memory loss Kabir?" I said in frustration.

"I am not Kabir. I am Karan. You are mistaken bro." he said. Oh! I just completely forgot about it.

"By the way who are you?" He asked me. Kabir came down and got excited on seeing Karan and gave him a manly hug.

"He is Sachi's husband." Kabir said.

"What!" He yelled at top of his voice. Why do this both brothers always keep on yelling?

"You were at the party. Right?" Karan asked me. I just nodded my head.

"Why didn't she introduce me to him that day?" Karan asked.

"That only she can answer." Kabir said.

"Where is Sachi I specially came just for her birthday?" Karan said. Today is her birthday. Why didn't they wish her at night? Where is she?

"I don't know. Is she in her room?" Kabir asked me. I just shook my head.

"She must be with Bhai in the garden." Both said at the same time. We started moving towards the garden.

They both were there practicing shooting. She knows shooting. She had her all focus on the target. They both shoot the bullet at the same time. They both hit the target at the exact centre.

"Better." Dhruv said looking at Sachi.

"Aarav come join us." Dhruv said. I know shooting as dad taught me when I was 10 years old.

Karan, Kabir and Sachi were looking at me as if trying to know whether I know or not. I went towards them and picked the riffle. Kabir and Karan also joined us. We were shooting for around an hour, I think. A servant came saying that Nanu wanted to see all of us. We went inside and saw him in the hall.

"Look what I found. Let me play it." Nanu said.

"What is in this cd Nanu?" Karan asked him.

"It has videos from the time Sachi was born. It is recorded by my stupid son-in-law" Nanu said.

"Nanu still you are calling my dad like that." Sachi said giving an unbelievable look.

"He was stupid. I just don't get that how my daughter fell in love with him." He said making faces.

"Dadu you are unbelievable. Still getting jealous of your son-in-law." Dhruv said and all four broke into fits of laughter.

"Let's play the video." Nanu said.

The video started. It showed a hospital scene. A lady was lying on the bed and her family had surrounded her. A nurse entered with a baby in her hand and all got so excited. She gave the baby to a man. He gently took her and was just admiring her with pure love.

"You are the biggest blessing of my life." He said and kissed the baby.

"Thank you for making me a father and giving me a chance to experience this feeling." He said and kissed the lady.

"What are you both going to name her?" a lady asked.

"Sachi." Both said at the same time. So, they are Sachi's parents. I looked at her and she was just looking at the screen blankly without showing any emotion. The video had many clips of Karan, Kabir, Dhruv and Sachi's childhood where they are playing and teasing each other. Seeing the videos, I could tell that she is closer to her Kaju and kishmish then Dhruv. Everybody was looking at the screen and were getting emotional.

Suddenly a clip was played, it showed that a girl of around 6 years old was sitting on her father's lap and was listening fairy tale story. I think she is Sachi

"Papa. When will I get a prince, who will protect me and fight for me?"

"In the future, you will get a prince when you will big enough." Her dad said.

"But what if my prince doesn't want to be with me then who will protect me." she asked in a childish.

"So, what you are already a princess. You don't need a prince to protect yourself." Her father said.

"But papa I am so small. How will I be able to protect myself?" she asked.

"I am going to be with you always and protect you."

"Promise." She said. She said the exact same way as she had said to me in the party but the only difference was she looked even more cute. 

"Pakka promise." He said.

I looked at Sachi and she was staring at the screen blankly. She just excused herself and rushed upstairs. She looked disturbed. I think even Dhruv noticed her as he followed her. I went behind them.

Dhruv was standing outside the room like a statue. I went near him and the scene in front of me shocked me. Sachi was sitting on the window seat and had curled herself and was crying and sobbing badly. I was not able to see her like this. Her sobs were killing me.

"Papa why didn't you fulfilled your promise? Why you left me her? Why you didn't take me with you? Why I didn't die that day? I wish, I had died with you." She said while hugging a photo frame. How can she say like that? How dare she say that she to wish about her death? I looked at Dhruv he looked upset by her words.

I was about to go to her when Dhruv stopped me and gestured me not to. I was not able to understand why was he not allowing me to go in. He went in. He stayed quite for some time and didn't do anything to stop her from crying.

"Princess what happened? Why are you crying? You use to say that our parents would never like seeing us crying then why are you crying doll?" he said with great difficulty. He seems to be in a shock seeing his baby sister crying like that. Is he Sachi's real brother? How can that be possible?

She looked at him and hugged him and cried more bitterly. It is true that we have many people with whom we can laugh but only a few with whom we can cry. Dhruv stopped me because he knew that if Sachi had seen me she would have stopped crying. She might have shared many beautiful and more moments with Karan and Kabir but she definitely seems to have a very special bond with Dhruv which nobody can replace.

"Why are you crying? Won't you tell me?" Dhruv said and patted her head. It looked as if he knew something like this was going to happen.

"Bhai. They killed......" She said in between her sobs. What is she talking about? Killed.... Who killed whom?
