The Accidental Wedding (Completed)

Chapter 26

Aarav's POV

"Why are you crying? Won't you tell me?" Dhruv said and patted her head. It looked as if he knew something like this was going to happen.

"Bhai. They killed......" She said in between her sobs. What is she talking? Who killed whom?

"Doll what are you saying? Who killed whom?" Dhruv asked in shock.

"Bhai all these years we were thinking it to be an accident but it was not an accident. Bhai It was planned. They planned....." She said with great difficulty. Which accident is she talking about? Dhruv was not shock with the new piece of information. I think he knew that it wasn't an accident.

"You know who did it?" he asked trying to hid his anger.

"Yes bhai. Even after dadu had disowned papa still he had name major property on papa's name. Chachu and chachi did all this for that property. They planned to kill mom dad and me so Dadu's entire property will be on their name. Bhai. Our parents got killed just for that property." She said and again started crying badly. How can anyone do something like that with to his own brother? How can they be so insensitive?

"What I heard from dadu and dadi, I got to know that papa loved chachu so much. Why did he do that with him? If he would have asked for the property papa would have given it to him. What was the need to do something so drastic?" She said.

"I told you not to go with them. I told you they don't love or even care about you but you didn't listen to me. They are just greedy for money. Bloody selfish people." he said in anger. His voice sounded as if he was ready to kill somebody.

"You said they wanted to kill you also so why did they didn't try to kill you when they got to know that you were alive." He said and there was a silent pause.

"Oh!" He said as if realising something.

"They didn't kill you because for your mom's property. Am I right?" He asked but she didn't utter a word. She simply nodded.

"This was the reason for all that wedding drama taking place. All that was a lie." He said in rage.

"Yes. There was nothing like that the guy was selected by my dad. They just wanted me to get married because of that clause which mom added in the will. It was all a lie. I should have heard your advice and not trusted them." She said and broke the hug and wiped her tears.

"You came to know this on your wedding day. Was this the reason you ran away from your wedding?" He asked her.

"Yes. I heard it and I didn't know what to do. I was calling you but you didn't pick my calls so I did what came in my mind at that moment. I ran away but they found me." she said.

"You know right, if they are so fond of the property, they would never harm you then why the hell did you agree to marry Aarav" he asked her in a loud voice. Why the hell he has so much problem with our marriage? 

"Bhai they wouldn't have done anything to me but they would have killed him thinking that he spoiled their plan. If anything would have happened to him, I would have never been able to forgive myself." She married me just for the sake of saving my life and I called her a gold digger. How pathetic of me to judge her before even knowing anything about her.

"I don't think they would have done that in front of your dadu." He said.

"Maybe but bhai would have killed him and even me for spoiling his reputation. For him his political career matters the most. They just created the situation and convinced everybody that Aarav and I loved each other so that their plan would become successful." She said.

"He is not your bhai. Stop calling him that." He said. His voice was reflecting possessiveness. Was this the time to get possessive? He is mad.

"Now you both are getting a divorce. May I know why?" he asked her.

"Bhai. He landed in this mess because of me. He is a nice person. He doesn't need to pay the price for my mistakes. Why should he be forced to stay in this loveless marriage which took place just because of some selfish people?" She said

"So that means you both have decided to give divorce to each other." Dhruv asked her. She nodded. How can she answer for me? I have not decided anything.

"Why are you both not giving each other a chance? You both might eventually fall in love in the future. You both are so comfortable around each other as if you were meant for each other." Dhruv asked.

"We both are comfortable with each other because we know that we both have to bear each other for few days then our paths are going to be separated. You are talking about love that will never happen as he is already in love with somebody." Sachi said. I am in love with somebody and I only don't know. This girl and her stupid assumptions would make me mad.

"And what about you? Don't you love him?" He asked her making her shock. I was just staring at her waiting for her reply. Will she say yes? I was feeling butterflies flying in my stomach.

"No. I don't love him." She said and I felt a strong pain arising in me. I felt deeply hurt but I don't know why? We both don't love each other, I know that but why I am feeling bad hearing it.

"Bhai. I know you were asking all that to just divert my mind. Now stop asking these silly questions and let's go down." She said clearly to avoid the topic.

"Are you going to give them a second chance?" He asked her. Has he lost his mind?

"Bhai is that even a question to ask. Second chance is given when mistake is committed and not crime." She said.

"You are going to leave them like that only without punishing them for their deeds." Dhruv asked her.

"Who said you that Bhai? Nobody cheats on me and then just ends up living peacefully. They will surely get punished for snatching our parents and spoiling our childhood." Sachi said. What is cooking in her head?

"Now that's the Sachi whom I know. Let's go now." He said and both were coming out. I entered in another room so she couldn't see me. She started moving downstairs but Dhruv stopped and said that he had some and will join them later. I went behind Dhruv as I need to get all the answers or I will become mad. I need to know everything about her.
