Staring at the walls above their beds, Diana, Dean and Sam listen carefully as John Winchester explains everything supernatural. He's sitting at the table while Sam leans against the counter with Diana sitting on the counter on his left and Dean pacing the room up and down on his right. Matt is standing close to the wall, his eyes still taking in all the clippings, pictures, weather charts, handwritten notes and torn out book pages that John had set up.

"So this is it. This is everything I know," John stares at his children and his extended ones, seeing the looks on their faces. "Look, our whole lives we been searching for this demon right? Not a trace, just . . . nothing. Until about a year ago. For the first time I picked up a trail."

"And that's when you took off." Said Dean. Diana detected a bit of bitterness in his voice and holds out her hand to him. He sees her move from the corner of his eye and stops pacing. The green eyed man takes her hand in his and lets her pull him towards her.

John nods at his eldest' words, "Yeah. That's right. The demon must have come out of hiding, or hibernation."

Matt looks briefly away from the wall to ask, "So what's the trail you found?"

"It starts in Arizona," John begins. "Then New Jersey, California. Houses burned down to the ground. It's going after families, just like it went after us."

     "Families with infants?" Sam asks.

"Yeah. The night of the kid's six month birthday."

Sam's eyebrows rise. "I was six months old that night?"

     "Exactly six months."

"So basically, this demon is going after these kids for some reason. The same way it came for me? So mom's death . . . Jessica. It's all because of me?"

Dean, who now stands in between Diana's legs with his back against her chest as she leans her head on his shoulder, squeezes the girls' hand as he sighs. "We don't know that Sam."

His little brother scoffs, "Oh really? 'Cause I'd say we're pretty damn sure, Dean."

"What happened was not your fault, Sammy." Diana says softly and reaches over to place a comforting hand on his shoulder. He shakes off her hand and angrily shakes his head with another scoff. He raises his voice, "Right. It's not my fault but it's my problem!"
