donghyuck's very angry voice rang throughout the whole court and each and every one of the students widened their eyes in fear, meanwhile jaemin, renjun, and jeno's eyes widened in shock.
it's been some time since they've seen donghyuck and now they faced the angry one.
donghyuck slowly walked to haewon and mingi, haewon gulped not knowing what he can do to mingi and herself.
"i don't think we met properly, i'm choi mingi and you must be?" mingi introduced himself and donghyuck was surely not having it.
he creased his eyebrows as he looked suspiciously at mingi. mingi stayed calm, letting out his hand and waiting for donghyuck to shake it.
"i don't fucking care about your name, all i want to know is why are you in my place with my partner" donghyuck said and haewon seemed taken aback, her heart was pounding and she didn't want mingi to get hurt, physically nor verbally.
"oh, you see the teacher's paired us since we don't have partners earlier" mingi replied calmly and let down his hand, completely disappointed that donghyuck didn't accept it but he really kinda expected him to be like that.
"oh okay" donghyuck said, his stance went from tense to calm and he looked at mingi intensely. mingi then looked at him with all his might and dignity left.
"really? is that it?" mingi asked donghyuck and donghyuck immediately looked at him straight in the eyes.
"yes and get out of my fucking spot" he said before pushing mingi out of haewon's side. mingi was quite tensed by this and he quite felt angry, just a bit though.
"ask again" he said, moving up to donghyuck, he just wanted to be respected especially in front of haewon since he didn't want haewon to think wrong nor learn wrong.
he didn't want her to beweak.
"get.out.of.my.fucking.spot" donghyuck yelled, the other students suddenly left the court out of fear since they knew that he can definitely kill a person right now, any person.
"ask politely and i will" mingi said, not budging, he was taller than donghyuck but he definitely knew that donghyuck was stronger than him.
"this guy, you're really getting in on my nerves" donghyuck said, clicking his tongue and looked at mingi in annoyance.
"just ask politely then i'll give you your spot" mingi said, his tough guy mode on and he didn't want to move unless he was respected.
without spending any more time, a punch landed on mingi's face and the people that were left in the court gasped loudly, earning the attention of the mafia boss.
"do i look like a fucking cinema to you? continue doing your work" he yelled, everyone immediately left the court, including the teacher and the only ones left were jaemin, renjun, jeno, and haewon.
soon, donghyuck was pounding on mingi. mingi didn't have the chance to fight back since donghyuck threw punches continuously and rapidly, the punches were too strong and many for him to handle.
haewon was about to run to mingi but was abruptly stopped by a jeno, renjun, and jaemin, they knew she would get killed if she meddled into their fight.

"renjun, jeno, bring mingi to the hospital" donghyuck ordered to the boys as they nodded, haewon was probably drowning in her own tears. donghyuck beat mingi up to the point that he was barely breathing.
and he didn't feel sorry about it, even one bit.
"jaemin, haewon, we're going home with me" he said, to the two that were sitting on the bleachers. jaemin was comforting haewon, he wrapped her tightly in his arms and stroked her hair, telling her that mingi's gonna be alright and that he'll live.
haewon trusted mingi, he was the answer to her questions and she felt whole with him. he took care of her when she was in fear in a very young age and treated her like his sister.
she may not remember anything about mingi rather than the night that they were ambushed by a gang but she definitely felt that he genuinely loved her as his sister.
"jaemin, haewon, let's go" donghyuck called once again and haewon just followed, he didn't want jaemin to get hurt as well.
"can you stand up straight? if you don't i'll just carry you" jaemin asked haewon as he gave her a reassuring look. haewon gave jaemin a smile, a genuine one as she stood up.
"i can stand up nicely jaem, thank you" haewon responded as jaemin returned the smile.
"remember, i'm here for you" he said and haewon nodded while holding onto his back.
"yes and i want to say tha-" she was cut off by an obviously annoyed and angry donghyuck.
"can you stop flirting? i wanna go home"
