Chapter 4: Get used to it.

Dream's POV:
I stare in disbelief. "Get over here right now." The blond says, pointing his sword at techno. Techno adjust his crown on his head and gets his own sword. "No" he says with a smile. Tommy walks over and pulls a smoke bomb out of his pocket. "AHA! Time to blow shit up!"

He tosses it down, practically blinding everyone, but.. but me? I can see right through it. Do I.. do I shoot one of the knights? I feel compelled to so I draw an arrow back and shoot the blond knight in his head, the arrow goes right into his skull. He falls backwards, tears forming at the base of his eyes. I just.. I just killed someone.

The smoke fades after a bit and I hear tubbo gasp. "D-dream..? D-did you.. d-did you just.." he speaks, not able to comprehend what he was seeing. Tommy covers tubbo's eyes. "Let's.. let's just go inside, alright?" Tommy says quietly, taking tubbo's hand in his and starting to walk inside the house. The other knight charges at me, me being frozen I don't do anything.

I just took someone's life. I.. I snap back into reality as I hear a yelp of pain and when I look down I see techno has impaled the knight in his side. "Dream! Cmon now, don't freeze up like that, I won't always be here to save your ass." Techno draws his sword out of the whimpering knight. He draws his sword back again to slide the guys head off.

"Wait!" I shout. He pauses and looks over at me, blood on his face from the knight. "What? You think we can spare him? Think about it dream, he'll tell the rest of them. Aren't you supposed to be smart..?" "Yeah yeah, I know.. just.. please try to make it more painless for the knights next time, huh?"

He nods then killing the knight. I sigh and take my arrow from the skull of the knight I just shot and clean it off in some water. I put it back in my quiver and walk into the house. "I see how it is, I guess I'll just deal with the bodies!" Techno shouts. I let in a shaky breath and look back at him. I shout "It's your fault they're here! It's your fucking fault I just had to kill someone!" I wipe the tears from my eyes as he stares at me in disbelief.

"We'll have to do it again. Follow your own advice, Dream." Techno says lowly, starting to drag the bodies away. "Where are you even taking them?" I ask. "To the moose's home, theres most likely other moose that'll eat their bodies." He says, not looking up at me. Dark.. but alright I guess.

I walk into the house and see tommy still comforting tubbo on the couch. "It's for our safety..!" "I just fucking watched someone die tommy! Right in front of me" tubbo responds with a whimper. "I'm.. sorry you had to see that, tubbo." I sit down on the couch. "You're.. you're a murderer!" Tubbo gets closer to Tommy, moving away from me.

"You act like I'll hurt you! You think I wanted to kill that guy?! He was attacking techno and there was probably no way to get them away, besides that. If we scared them off they'd bring reinforcements! Tubbo, I'm not a bad person!.." I shout, slamming my hand down on the coffee table by the couch.

Tommy visibly winces as I do. "I'm sorry I shouted, but tubbo, we're gonna have to do this together and you have to understand that shit like this will happen." I sigh. Tubbo nods slowly. "I-I just need a moment to myself, please. I understand, I'll just need time to process it." He stands up and walks to his room. Tommy walks to his own room.

I walk to check on George. He's.. he's not there. I look around his room for any sign that he left off his own accord. I notice his window is open, the latch broken. "Where the hell is he?!" I shout, worried for my best friend. Sapnap runs in. "What happened?!" "George is gone, sapnap. He's fucking gone!"

I wipe the tears falling down my face and jump through the window and look for any signs of tracks. "If he gets hurt I'm gonna kill someone." I look down and see some tracks of footsteps in the soft mud. of probably like three people. "Sapnap, get the rest. We're going on a little expedition." Sapnap nods and goes around the house.

After a short bit sapnap, techno, Tommy, and tubbo are at the back of the house with me. "What weapons do you have?" I question them. "Umm.. I got throwing knives, smoke bombs, a lighter, and a rope." Tommy says. "I only have healing things, like the sorta things in a med kit and I think some sort of healing potions." Tubbo answers, checking his bag.

"My claws, my control over fire, and my ninja stars." Sapnap answers , clinking his nails together. He must really like doing that. "I have my sword and I'm actually much stronger in this world." Techno says, flipping his sword in his hand. "Got it, let's go. We're gonna save George, okay?" I say slightly fidgeting with my black fingerless gloves.

They nod. I start to follow the tracks, them following me, tubbo collecting berries from bushes he sees. This is definitely gonna be something..
