The day before...

"ARGH!" Remi screamed in agony, her whole arm were covered with her own blood, and her knees fell to the ground. Under the thick blood, it was covered with scratches, she was lucky that her arm was still intact. She tried to move it, but to no avail...

"Remi!" Bylke cried out. Already tired out himself, he still ran up to her as quickly as possible "Are you okay?"

She didn't respond, too busy to endure the intense pain. The person that has been causing them the trouble, was already defeated — fried from Remi's intense voltage

"W-what should we do with him?" Blyke continued

"I don't know..." With the lowest voice possible, she replied. She couldn't even help herself in this situation

If it wasn't for me and Blyke getting stronger, we'd probably be dead already

.

.

"I can help"

From a mysterious female voice, Remi snapped her eyes wide open and immediately shot a gaze to this person, assuming it was just a new threat.

She didn't know why, but her other hand which was still functional, aimed its palms to the stranger. Without warning, she subconsciously struck a lightning from above

*CRAAASH!*

The striking distance was so close that it could've just damaged their ear drums. But it didn't hit the woman. All that woman did was getting startled, except her eyes didn't show any signs of flinch, or getting surprised. Did she fake her startle...? More importantly, did I miss? Remi thought.

"Wow, scary" The lavender haired woman sarcastically said

"Who are you?" Remi said with a low energy. She felt like she could faint at any moment

"Don't worry, I'm a good person!" Under the mask the woman smiled "If they happen to actually exist"

Does she mean... she doesn't believe good person exists? Remi wondered, when suddenly, Leilah was walking closer to them. Blyke couldn't help but to be cautious "D-don't step any closer!"

But Leilah ignored him. So he charged up a beam at the top of his index finger, and shot it at Leilah's feet. But instead, it just went through her, and landed on the ground instead

"W-what...?"

Leilah kneeled down to to match Remi, and touched her broken arm, "Ack!" Just a slight touch can hurt like help

"Remi... I can help you heal your arm"

Hearing her own name being spoken sent chills down her spine "H-how do you know my name?"
