"YOU KNOW, THIS IS BASICALLY     kidnapping. I can just claim you're a stranger and you'll regret this." Aliya groaned, as Jessie's surprisingly strong arms pulled her along the Central Park side walk

The young girl slumped in the nanny's arms, giving up her fight as Jessie laid her on a park bench, pat the girl's head, and walked away, "You'll have fun."

Ravi skipped his way over to the bench, squatting down in front of Aliya, "Wanna talk to the ducks in the pond? I think Mrs. Yellowtush and her ducklings are back today."

Aliya snorted and pulled herself into a seating position, "I'd love to visit Mrs. Yellowtush, as long as you keep me out of shot of Luke's basketball. Dude has a vendetta against me."

Luke, who was standing a couple feet away with Jessie and Zuri, turned and fake chucked his ball towards her.

Ravi, quickly, jumped in front to block the fake throw, and gasped in relief when he saw the ball had never left his hands.

"Ha! You see. Ravi is a good friend. Something you don't have any of." Aliya smirked, throwing her arm over Ravi's shoulder in appreciation

"Hey, guys, you wanna hear a song?" Jessie asked, opening her guitar case and pulling her acoustic out.

"What's it about?" Luke quizzed, spinning the ball around in his hands

Jessie smiled in excitement, "Oh, a life lesson I learned."

"See you." Luke smirked, quickly running off before Jessie could trap him

Aliya stood up from the bench, hoping to make an escape, but Zuri held her by the sleeve, refusing to give way.

"Jessie, I would love to hear your musical stylings." Ravi smiled

"Aww. Thanks, Ravi." Jessie responded, before playing a completely out of tune chord on her guitar

"Oh, look. What an unusual duck! We're just..." Ravi started, before the best friends both quickly sprinted away

Aliya and Ravi both stopped shortly after, completely out of breath, and flopped onto the grass by the duck pond.

"People who work out belong in prison." Aliya groaned, struggling to catch her breath

"Running is for criminals and diagnosed psychopaths. Of which I am neither." Ravi agreed, crawling closer to the edge to look at the ducks

The momma duck and her ducklings swam around the pond in tiny circles, creating a synchronized dance of sorts.

The two friends laughed when one of the ducklings flipped upside down, but was quickly helped by the mother

"Oh, to be a duck in Central Park. No worries in the world." Aliya smiled, laying on her stomach next to the Indian boy to get a closer look

The ducks stopped their swimming when they heard the sound of pounding feet grow closer, quickly retreating to the further side of the pond
