{🐍}Chapter 29: A Welcoming for The Princess{🐍}

After spending time at Scarabia, Mae and I changed back into our winter clothes and headed back to the Ramshackle Dorm while Grim stayed inside my jacket to keep warm, Ace and Deuce were able to go back home thanks to Jay who opened a door to their hometown so that they can spend Christmas with their families.

Roxana: Phew, I'm glad that's over
Mae: Yeah, but we did had fun too and I can't wait to give you guys your Christmas presents~
Roxana: Really!? You got us Christmas presents!
Mae: Of course I did, why wouldn't I
Grim: Huuuuuuuhhhhhh... We finally made it back, y'know
Roxana: Yeah, it feels like we've been gone forever, but at least nothing will surprise us this time
Ghost A: Heeeeeey there, you three!
Grim: Even the faces of those old geezer-ghosts look cute after our prison life, y'know

[Ghost B and C appear]

Ghost B: We thought you might've gone over to the other side since you didn't come home for so long... Everyone was worried sick. Heeheehee
Ghost C: It's a huge relief to see you back safe and sound
Ghost A: We went ahead and took care of giving the fire fae their daily logs
Roxana: You guys, thank you!
Grim: Ffgna!? Now that you mention it... We completely forgot!
Ghost B: No way we're spending our holiday in a block of ice
Ghost C: Yup Yup, and the feast the headmaster ordered has showed up
Roxana: Really!
Grim: Nyahah! Feast time!! I gotta lay my eyes on this right now!!

Grim hopped out of my jacket and ran into the Ramshackle Dorm with the ghost following him, while I stood there with a smile while Mae smiled along with me.

Mae: Don't eat without us!! Sheesh, to think Grim has had enough food
Roxana: Well, at least nothing will surprise us this time
???: Ooh, are you back?
Roxana/Mae: WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Mae and I both jumped and fell into the snow, we both got up and saw Lilia hanging upside down.

Mae: [glares] Goddamit Lilia!!! You scared the crap outta me!!!! Don't do that ever again!!!
Roxana: Wait a minute. You're from Diasomnia
Lilia: Correct Sleeping Beauty. I'm none other than the Vice dorm head of Diasomnia, Lilia Vanrouge
Mae: She already met you, idiot
Lilia: I've come to deliver a holiday card addressed to you from a certain individual

Lilia handed me an envelope and I opened it to see that it was from Malleus, Mae looked irritated while I smiled and giggled.

Roxana: Thank you, Lilia
Lilia: He was sulking about since he wasn't invited to any holiday parties this year and how his baby sister didn't visit him again this year
Mae: [looks away] [sarcastic] Geez, I wonder why
Lilia: Please be sure to invite him if you ever happened to host a party with your friends
Mae: [whispers to herself] No way
Roxana: Sure, I'll be sure to invite him to our humble home
Mae: What!?
Roxana: Mae Senpai, I think you should give your big brother a chance, after all, Christmas is about spending time with your families, isn't that right? Maybe you should go visit Diasomnia, just for today... Please~
Mae: Well... [sigh] Alright, I'll go... I hate the holidays
Lilia: Then, my business here is done. Have a wonderful holiday. And Mae, I'll be seeing you soon, I'll send a message to your brother that you're coming to visit

[Lilia Disappears]

Roxana: The sender's name is... M.D. That must be Malleus, right, it can't be you because you're here
Mae: Yeah, I should probably go meet my brother, you okay being with just Grim during the winter?
Roxana: I'll be fine, besides, I promised Kalim a second chance to show me what Scarabia is all about during their tour
Mae: Ughhh!!! My day just get's worst and worst... In any case, we should go get something to eat, I'm so starving
Grim: Mae!!! Roxie!!! If you don't get in here you're gonna miss the feast!!
